Very Professional Front Desk Staff

The front desk person, Crystal, was extremely helpful and went a step above, which is very, very rare nowadays. Recommend this stay even though the beds are low to the ground for me (6'10").

The bed was Very comfortable!

I don’t normally eat breakfast but if I did, I would like it hot. No problem

Maintenance needs to be completed

The hotel for the most part was good, but there needs to be serious maintenance on the rooms because we had issues and more than two rooms have to be moved twice. Once they moved the second time I no longer was interested in staying.

Good Yet Mechanical issues

Upon arrival the HVAC was not set for the season which I tried to resolve but couldn't manage to get the menu to open. So front desk was responsive in fixing it.
The coffee beans are really nice; however, the brew strength is so light it's only colored water for both regular and decaf coffee, no where near as strong as McDonald's coffee and I hoped this would be a step up. Avid has chosen to offer zero strength options on a machine that is fully capable of making those options available. I asked the front desk to resolve but it didn't happen and I got no response during my stay.
The HVAC thermostat stays on very bright all night making it difficult to sleep rather than going to a normal dark mode. I had to cover it with cardboard to sleep. I asked the front desk to resolve it but nothing happened.
The toilet seat is missing the right rear bolt which means the seat moves bigtime when sitting on it. This is most likely a poor installation and should have caught at inspection, and before now it should have been resolved. Hasn't this been reported before? I reported this at my checkout.
Toilet paper holder leans diagonally and needs the screw tightened. I reported this at checkout.
It's quite obvious this relatively new hotel is not receiving any maintenance and it seems they don't care about responding to issues. I stayed 3 nights and would have stayed 3 more but chose to checkout and go with other options.
IHG should provide me a bunch of points for these issues and for taking the time to write them up for you.

A Comfortable Stay at a Minimalistic Hotel

We found this place as we looked online for good hotels in the area. We were unsure what a minimalist hotel would offer but decided to try it because it wasn’t too expensive. It was a very nice stay but definitely very minimalistic. If you don’t mind a takeaway breakfast and smaller rooms, I would recommend you try out Avid!

Lost money because of rude unhelpful staff

Paid full price upon checking in, but a miscommunication with housekeepers led to them taking another half of that from my account. Repeatedly asked if I needed to pay more, didn't get answers from any of the three staff I inquired. All of them were rude and standoffish, and they barely acknowledged anything I said at the desk. They took the total price I already paid out of my account again upon checking out. The lady kept saying I shouldn't have to pay more, but I did, and she just outright refused to help me. Just gave my room a discount and thought that would solve anything. Everything nice about this place, I could find elsewhere without the stress of having over a thousand dollars taken from me. I couldn't enjoy my stay or anything nice about the place because of the horrible treatment and the constant stress it caused me. Go literally anywhere else but here.

Comfortable bed , exactly what i needed for travel

The room was clean and comfortable. The only negative i had was the ac unit rattling all night and day. Had a few noisy neighbors the 2nd night but were gone again the next day. This is my 2nd stay here and I haven’t had any problems with this hotel
