No Microwave in room

For the price they charge, there should be a microwave in every room. The room could have been cleaner. The breakfast area bigger with more than basically a continental breakfast. If you needed a microwave, you had to go to breakfast area. Only Ice machine was on first floor.

With IHG you have dynamic pricing. Avid hotels are supposed to be the ‘value’ hotel chain, but for the night we stayed (Friday night) we paid a premium price, making our stay not worth it at all. The hotel is newer so the condition is still very good. However we thought the room darkening shade was broken - turns out it didn’t even have one. Noise level from inside the hotel was excellent, but noise from the road was loud constantly over night. I believe the gentleman working the front desk may have been new, but I wasn’t greeted at all or given any instruction on amenities, breakfast or where to even find the elevator. If you want to be in a central location to things to do in Lancaster this is a great spot, but there are even better hotels a block or two away.

We were overcharged for the hotel room and tried calling for days and no one will answer the phone. We called and called. It's very frustrating. They over charged us $150.00. Also, the walls are pretty thin. We heard people shutting doors and walking the entire time we were there. The front desk guy named Caleb was the best thing about the stay he was super nice

First time here. Beautiful clean hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had several selections. Food was fresh and presentation was good.

We were extremely pleased with the service and the hotel's condition and the ambiance and the staff. We would use this hotel--This chain--if all of them were like the one in Lancaster.

This place is great, they treat you as a guest and not a number like a lot of other hotel franchises do.
Great service, amenities were great wasn’t too keen on the big bottles of soap. But other than that it’s one of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long time.
Our stay was more then we expected and the staff.

Unknown charge / Billing issue with no one willing to respond over phone or email despite multiple follow up. Representative literally said "There is nothing I can do except to send you to a voicemail box". During my stay, there was also a dispute between a staff member with a guest during breakfast and cops were called. This is definitely one of the worse IHG I have stayed in.

Great hotel to stay in, convenient to all local attractions. The staff was superb. Fastest check-in I have ever had. Breakfast was good for most Americans but could use more plant based options. They did have oatmeal though for breakfast!

Great location and very clean hotel. The desk clerk, Caleb, was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make my room request. And he was helpful in many other ways while we were there, too. Great staff.

I would not recommend this hotel, it is not clean and was uncomfortable. The only positive experience was the gentleman who checked us in, he was helpful in switching our room when the first one smelt like animals had been in it.
