These hotels are affiliated with Holiday Inns & Suites, but aren't the same. I like to use the bathroom light for a night light, but it went off after a few minutes. There are no night stands or drawers, only wall shelves, with no Gideon Bibles. The mattress was way too soft, but the one at the last Holiday Inn I visited was also too soft. It would be nice if the bathroom had a towel shelf to place items off the floor, like toiletries or small bags. There were no pancakes or waffles on the breakfast menu.

Retired now, but when I was in the workforce I had accumulated just shy of 1 million IHG points. Needless to say I have stayed about a lot of IHG properties.
First time avid guest. Though I understand avid is a notch down from Holiday Inn Express, it is still a nice, clean, friendly experience.
Nice stay for a quick visit

We were passing through Lebanon on the way to visit family and wanted something nice, yet affordable. The Avid fit the bill. The staff were very nice. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a roomy bathroom. We've already recommended it to family and would stay again if necessary.

Right off the interstate and super easy drive into Nashville. Staff was excellent. Very clean all around and a comfortable stay.
Dirt roads and a bigfoot

Construction around this location was very disappointing because we were in town for a car show and our vehicles got filthy every day.
I think bigfoot was staying in the room directly above us. Other guests shared similar problems with hearing people walking around above them throughout the night.

I love the expedited check in experience for members. The staff was great! They made extending my stay seamless. They made me feel valued by mentioning my elite status multiple times, it made feel appreciated for my IHG loyalty. Nice simple rooms. Pay for what you want not the rest style. One note was I wanted to extend my stay but at one point the online price was reflecting over $400 over the weekend so I drove and stayed at another IHG hotel.

The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The blackout shade made it night time dark at 9am. Best ever! The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Would recommend, in fact, I have recommended it to all my friends and family. 10/10!!!!

This seems to be a newer hotel. Avid is contemporary themed IHG properties. Rates are good and property is well managed. Some amenities not provided are coffee makers and ice buckets in room. Refrigerator provided but no microwave. Ice buckets are located on first floor by the only ice machine. No plastic liners for buckets of general use! Decent hot breakfast and choices of fruits and dairy products. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again!
