Very nice, newer motel in nice, safe area. Would recommend for short stay (rooms are smaller, but that is the point of this hotel brand). I appreciated the tile floors since we had our dog with us.

Stayed at Avid hotel for one night while in town to see a musical. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and we had everything we needed with no complaints or issues. Great stay!

This hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are sparse but that seems to be the prevailing style these days. The breakfast is very good with with jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches, pre- made omelets, fruit, cereal, bread/bagels, juice, and a 24hr gourmet coffee machine. Much better than the Hampton Inn I had stayed at the night before. The location is very good with a restaurant, ice cream shop, and cigar bar along with fire pits, parks, a river dock, and outdoor games next door. A good spot.

Not the greatest quality of breakfast offered

The breakfast was awful. Very poor quality on the hot egg choices. The omelets were dry on the edges. I tried a few & they were all past their prime. So I went on to the the breakfast sandwiches. They were worse yet.. muffins were dry as cardboard and the egg cheese ham filling was gross. All went in the trash. So went on the the boiled eggs that were 3 days (as the containers were dated) old so just held hope I would not get sick.

Every staff member was helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean and it’s a great location! All it needs is a pool.

This hotel is in an excellent location—nestled in a quiet area of Monona, yet within walking distance of several great dining options. It’s very clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. It’s also conveniently situated for getting around town easily. This will definitely be at the top of my list the next time we visit Madison.

It was one of the best hotels I’ve been to and it was right down the street from my house and job and I would love to come and stay again and the staff was amazing and nice to meet and they also have the good coffee and breakfast

This is my first time staying at this property. The property and staff are great. Location is convenient. Room was comfortable and clean. It is a great location with easy access from the Beltline and next door to nice restaurants.

We stayed because of proximity to family, but this is our preferred hotel for amenities and comfort. The location is amazing. The room rates are very reasonable. The building is in great shape and well-kept by the staff. All managers in duty are very helpful, qualified, and eager to please. The smallest concerns are especially welcomed. Anything major is handled expeditiously regardless of when. We had no problems this visit and keep coming back for all comforts.
