Lovely place to stay in Phuket.
The resort is in patong popular area known for its night life
Good for shopping
Services are good
Cleanliness is also maintained
Room amenities also comfortable
We enjoyed our stay

This is a beautiful property in need of major TLC. This property is not maintained correctly. I had to call maintenance four times within the first two hours of checking in for different things not working in our two rooms. (The AC sensor broke, the door lock back panel was broken, the toilet was non-functional, and the private pool jets must be manually turned on and off by staff; they never came the first time I requested. And the worst of all, the water lines were running brown water. We were afraid to even wash our hands.

Having said that, the staff worked hard and were very apologetic. The manager MJ provided us with an upgrade to rooms that were in was better shape but still a couple of things didn't work there like wall DC plugs and light siwtches.

Why not? Phuket.

Love this hotel. The staff are amazing. Stayed in a king size room and it was spacious. Shower was big and comfortable. Open air lobby makes it easy to waut for tours. The pools wuth bar service made the experience memorable. Would stay here again.

Really lovely resort that could be elevated easily.

Generally a great property

A couple let downs:
- the common area halls need to be improved. Dark and stark. Get a local artist in and have some big colourful murals.
- buffet not great. It’s nearly criminal to not have an actual coffee machine in an IHG property for breakfast. I don’t remember the last time I saw brew coffee in a resort.
- pillows are bad
- shower goes everywhere and the exhaust fan didn’t work at all

Though the property was kind of old, but we still feel comfortable and welcomed since everyone there were extremely friendly and willing to help. The breakfast was delicious and you can go to the Karon Beach quite convenient!

A Disappointing Experience Even Before Check-In
My family and I arrived at the hotel expecting a pleasant stay, but unfortunately, we were met with disappointment even before we checked in.
When we drove up to the lobby area to find a parking spot, we waited for about 1–2 minutes, yet no staff approached us to offer any assistance.

Even after circling back for a second time, there was still no staff present to assist. I had to get out of the car and walk to the lobby myself to ask where the parking area was. A staff member informed me that the parking lot was located on Patak Soi 24.

Once we arrived at the parking lot, there were no staff available to welcome or assist us. We had to walk back to the lobby in the rain by ourselves to check in.
When we reached the lobby, we stood there for almost a minute without anyone greeting or assisting us. One staff member saw us standing there but showed no intention of acknowledging or welcoming us.

During our stay, I called to request towels. After waiting for 20 minutes with no response, I had to call again. The towels eventually arrived 40 minutes later, meaning we had to wait a total of one hour just to receive three towels.

As for cleanliness, the housekeeping service was below standard. There was still a considerable amount of hair left on the floor, and used of glassware and tissue paper had not been removed from the room.

Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing — from the lack of service and attention from staff to the subpar cleanliness of the room. It did not meet the expectations for a hotel of this level.

I had a fantastic two-day stay at the Holiday Inn Resort in Phuket last week. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional. The bellboy and reception team were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and informative—they made check-in smooth and offered helpful tips about the resort and local area.

The resort itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it a perfect place to relax. I truly appreciated the hospitality and professionalism of the staff, which made my short stay memorable.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phuket!

I had an amazing time in Karon Beach.
I was recognised as a member and had even been upgraded to the most beautiful room with a private pool - This was greatly appreciated!
Staff were incredibly friendly and were happy to help. We had breakfast a few times during our stay and was very happy with the choices, the menu seemed to differ slightly day by day too.
Also, the food at the restaurant was lovely! The Massaman Curry is definitely recommended - it was delicious.

The surrounding area is quiet and relaxed - with only a 10-15minute walk to the beach which was gorgeous!

I hope to visit Karon Beach again & if I do, I will definitely be staying with your hotel.
