Never stayed at this hotel, was pleasantly surprised how clean and modern the hotel was, staff professional bed comfy and coffee superb!

Hotel was clean staff was professional and bed comfy coffee was outstanding, will definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends, a great experience overall I truly have nothing negative to say, awesome from start to finish!

Bring. BAck the old breakfast and stop regulating the air conditioning or at least allow the sensors to be turned off by management

The front desk clerk was the best I have run across in a long time. Very friendly always smiling asking how I was doing, if I needed and anything.
Explained everything that was available. Times for breakfast. Coffee bar. Water area. She need to be a training other staff on how to treat guests. Other staff was friendly but not as much as she was.
Desk clerk in the morning was no where to be found trying to check out. Think she was helping the breakfast staff but not sure.
GREAT PLACE TO STAY! STAFF AWESOME! SUPER CLEAN!

We checked in and were greeted by Bree! She is awesome! Check in was fast and easy. Our room was on the 3rd floor. It faced the service road (Holiday Dr.) and Route 26, sleep wasn’t the greatest as you heard road noise with tractor trailers being the worst. The room was super clean and housekeeping was great. We didn’t take advantage of breakfast after I observed a guy who was touching bagels and muffins with his bare hands.
Checkout was fast and efficient with Meika. All staff always had a big smile when making eye contact. Overall great place. Clean room, comfy bed, just get a room on the back of the hotel if you want a good nights sleep.

The Avid Summerville is excellent.the place is clean and no problems. The staff for breakfast are spot on when helping. Love the filtered water system and beverage system in the front. The breakfast is really good the choices have lots of variety.

The staff is very good, hands down. Breakfast was good and had a variety.
The room temperature was too hot, could not adjust temperature. The door on the shower would not close properly, floor got very wet and is an accident waiting to happen. Overall not bad.
The Ikea of Hotels - Cheap and a great value!

This is my first time staying at an Avid hotel and I've got to say I was not disappointed. Everything looks so sterile and the color scheme and design reminded me of being in an Ikea, but no complaint there because everything was fantastic! The bed was comfy as can be after working twelve our shifts the whole week I was in SC, and the shower water pressure was amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better stay! The breakfast was a bit different from what you'd expect at other hotels, but it was still a great value and good for a quick eat and go experience if you're headed out for work. They had cereal, bagels, bread, muffins, scrambled eggs, (dry) sausage patties, oatmeal, and a Minute Maid juice and coffee machines. All self serve, and easy to grab and go. Simple and quick.
A great alternative to staying in Charleston

This is our second stay at the Summerville Avid. We had room 112 which looked out on trees and a creek-very relaxing. The property is very clean. The free breakfast is amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Close to everything. If you like Mexican food, El Patron behind Cracker Barrel is excellent. We come to Charleston to visit our granddaughter who attends College of Charleston and we find it easy to get to her residence from the hotel. The hotel is very quiet. We had checked in in the late afternoon and were amazed at how many people were at breakfast-we never heard any doors closing or conversations. A great place for the price!
A great place to stay in Summerville

This was our second time staying at Avid in Summerville and we will return again. It is easy access from the freeway and everything you may need is close by. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Very clean.
We were in room 112 and our window looked out on trees and a creek. Very quiet. Our granddaughter attends College of Charleston and we made a quick trip to see her. We find this is much less expensive than staying in Charleston and when we head home it is so easy (heading north to Charlotte).

Was in the area and found this hotel. It’s easily the cleanest hotel I’ve ever been in and on top of that an awesome, friendly, helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

The service and room was excellent bar none. The staff was informative courteous and kind. Everything was great and when I return to the city I'll definitely stay here again. I also recommend my CO workers to stay here as well. They enjoyed their stay as well.
