My family and I had a house fire and we stayed at the Avid for approximately 4 weeks. They were accommodating and worked with us for our stay. Thank you! I work the night shift so I appreciate the staff letting me sleep and still would come in to tidy up. The only adjustments I would make is to ensure the entire staff is on the same page when communicating and remove the bacon crumble from the breakfast buffet maybe substitute whole bacon.

For the value this was a great stay. Area has plenty of fast food restaurants and places to eat. Entire property is very modern, clean, and well maintained. Rooms was excellent.

Staff steals and they condone it

Worst experience ever. I had $600.00 stolen from my room and they did nothing. Never even asked for the specific information from me for any type of report. Do not stay here!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with the most pleasant smile and professional welcome. Everything during my stay was spot on and made for a restful night. I go to check out yesterday and I am met by two of the most wonderful ladies I have had the pleasure of chatting with in a very long time. There personalities, passion and professionalism made my day. They put a huge smile on my face and wished me safe travel. Great experience and I will make a point of staying here as part of my travels soon. Thanks for such a great stay.

Horrible stay at Avid hotel due to employee

The stay itself was fine, until we got locked out of our room and the employees who worked at the hotel especially DEJA were unable to act and get the situation resolved. She also starting giving us attitude responding to questions like can I talk to a manager with”No” and then once she said that the maintenance guy came to the room and tried to open it even though we saw that nobody came. And we told her that she lied to us about both the timeline of when the maintenance guy was coming and him actually coming she started yelling and getting disrespectful, she then also threatened us telling us she will be calling someone to come and she called her boyfriend who supposedly was coming to fight and wanted to take things outside. There is video proof of all of this and this is extremely unacceptable. First, the attitude, she didn’t say a single sorry or apologise for the situation, second the lying and third the threats. We will be taking this up the chain.
