The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology is a research facility and public museum that displays the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. The Museum's mission is the scientific study, collection, documentation, conservation, exhibition, and preservation of the cultural and historic patrimony of various Vietnamese ethnic groups. Additionally, the museum functions as a resource for research, preservation, and technology that are integral to the work of an ethnographic museum.

The Museum of Vietnamese Women is a repository of cultural and historical knowledge, showcasing the lives of women from 54 ethnic communities throughout Vietnam's history. It highlights the heroic contributions of women in times of war, from antiquity to the twenty-first century. Additionally, the museum functions as a cultural exchange center, promoting equality, development, and peace among women from various nations.

Looking over the historic Ba Dinh Square and attracting a worldwide audience every day, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is the resting place of President Ho Chi Minh's embalmed remains, and is part of the complex that hosts his official, humble residence, and a museum documenting his life dedicated to the country's independence and transformation. Visitors to the Mausoleum also enjoy peaceful, long walks around the serene fish ponds and lush gardens, many trees in which President Ho planted himself.

Located at the center of the iconic Hoan Kiem Lake, Thang Long Water Puppet Theater is a familiar address for both domestic tourists and foreign ones, who want to discover the beauty of water puppet shows - a unique Vietnamese traditional art - telling stories of the daily life of Vietnamese farmers, historical legends and communal entertainment, in a vibrant, colorful setting, with folk music performed using traditional instruments.
