With no airs or graces, the Public Bar is the beating heart of The Refuge. Coffee and co-working in the morning, board games after lunch, and cocktails and craft ales into the early hours. Our resident DJs curate the experience Thursday through to Saturday with an eclectic mix of jazz, swing, funk, soul and house.

Settle into a comfortable chair, lean back, and browse the selection of gins in the Winter Garden, the leafy heart of Kimpton Clocktower Hotel’s distinctive dining spaces. Every detail—from the furniture to the lively green colour scheme—has been thoughtfully considered. If you happen to be around on a Saturday or Sunday, kick off the weekend—or help lift the weight of the night before—with a Bloody Mary (even a virgin one).
