For over a century, the spot where our bar now stands was a cinema. Adorned with art nouveau elegance, it was a place to see and be seen.

Inspired by this cinematic past, the bar's now home to vintage cameras, costumes and early film posters, along with a thoroughly modern menu of signature cocktails. Swing by for live gigs, drinks with friends, and classic screenings in our beautiful movie lounge. And when it's time to unwind, step behind the scenes to a haven of Lean Luxury calm: your room.

Our central spot is a great base for exploring the city, strolling by the lake or shopping 'til you drop. And with Zurich's main station right across the road, you can be at the airport in under 20 minutes.

Housed in one of Zurich’s first cinemas, Ruby Mimi celebrates the early days of Hollywood, when silent films flourished and starlets named Mimi rose to fame. Inspired by their era-defining style, the design blends velvet furnishings and art nouveau touches with vintage cameras, lighting and costumes for true old-movie glamour.

Ruby Mimi’s 24-hour bar brings a touch of old-Hollywood glamour to Zurich, with art nouveau accents, rich fabrics and vintage film props creating relaxed daytime vibes. As evening falls, the glow of frosted glass and brass sets the scene for Italicus Spritzes, classic cocktails, wines, beers and soft drinks.

Movie Lounge

Step back into Mimi’s silver-screen past and unwind in our art deco-inspired Movie Lounge. Sink into plush seats, soak up the vintage glamour and enjoy classic films in a cosy, cinema-style setting.

Local Breakfast

Our locally sourced breakfast features fresh fruit, cereals, breads, pastries, cheese and salumi – plus Zurich’s favourite Butterzopf. Served in the bar with bottomless barista coffee and organic tea, it stays super fresh thanks to our nearby partners while helping support local producers.

Little luxuries

Enjoy a little Lean Luxury at home, with aromatherapy Ruby Care shampoos and shower gels, scented candles, organic tea and Hausbrandt coffee. A curated selection of Ruby essentials is available on site to bring a touch of the experience into your own space.
