Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Expect a motel with limited amenities After a 6 hour flight, I arrived to hotel/motel with external door. As a pregnant female, I had concerns with my safety generally - the hotel staff offered no alternative accommodations. Arrived in room to discover that TV, telephone, and heating were all not functioning. Maintenance was able to correct the telephone - not able to resolve other issues. Worst night sleep in a very long time. Room rate was ~$300 and the staff did not offer any refund to compensate for non-functioning room. Will not stay there again - would not recommend. 28 February 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Stanford Parents My husband and I booked a 3 night stay for Stanford Parent's Weekend and were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the Cabana Suite. The room and balcony were very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. All of the staff, were very friendly. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and plan to visit again. 25 February 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by This hotel is lacking... The property is OK-- pretty average in terms of overall ambience and comfort. What was troubling with my stay was there was a loud, middle-of-the-night pool party. It took hotel staff a while to resolve the issue - basically intoxicated individuals who had broken into the pool area. I imagine everyone who had a poolside room got a pretty lackluster night of sleep. 23 February 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Way Above Average Customer Service We stayed at the Crowne Plaza following a very long and stressful day that followed surgery for our Granddaughter at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. The staff checking us in was so caring and concerned. It made a lasting impression. The room was fabulous, and the night was restful. Thank you so much! We will definitely return. 22 February 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice people - not so good at their jobs though. First they sent me to a room that was already occupied. Oops. Then they upgraded me to a suite, which sounds great, but really wasn't. The HVAC in the suite was only blowing hot air, so it was about 80 in the room. Yes, I called to get it fixed, and they sent someone up and said it was fixed. Nope, it wasn't. By that time I just needed to sleep. So to remedy this I opened the patio door, and yes, I slept so that anyone with access to the partitioned but shared balcony (that is, 6 other rooms) could have climbed into my room. That didn't happen. But it did cool down. 18 February 2014
