Another enjoyable stay

I have stayed in this hotel numerous times over the last 12 months. The staff are excellent they are welcoming attentive and deliver good service in all departments. The only point I would suggest is that for breakfast an omelette/egg making station would make breakfasts perfect.

Good experience overall; food needs better preparation

Reservation was easy and people were very friendly, both through emails exchanged and in the hotel.

The room was very good, although not turned to the city center, as requested.

Although the food was ok, I expected more on the dishes quality:

- the soups lacked salt (although that was solved wiht table salt available)

- the salads' chicken was not crispy at all, did not have a good taste and was mushy - did not enjoy this at all. The dressing was also not that great and there was little parmigiano cheese on it, and it should be flaked in bigger bits, not like in a pasta.

- the shrimp pasta was poorly presented on one of the plates, because the tagliatelli was shredded to little pasta bits, not whole, while the other one was rolled up and better looking; also, the pasta on both dishes was over cooked, not all dente and could not be rolled around the fork. The tomato sauce was not that warm, it came almost cold, was not that tasteful also; I would suggest a better seasoned tomato sauce, with a white wine reduction and garlic, and a bit of fish broth to enhance the seafood dish it actually is. The parmigiano should be served separately and here, unlike the salad it should be grated, yes.

- I was disappointed with the absence of the rich chocolate mousse I asked for, since there was no indication in the emails, by the catering department, this would not be available. The parfait was ok, but I suggest a tiramisu instead; also, there should be one or two more options for dessert.

- I asked for Pepsi and Coca Cola was served; I asked for Perrier water, and Vidago was served; no major problem, but not what was asked.

Breakfast variety was very good and we enjoyed it very much; one of the things I liked the most was the actually hot coffee and milk, served by the employees, instead of the usual warm - but not actually hot - coffee and milk. This was a very good thing, keep this good service.

Desayuno excelente y muy variado.
Habitación silenciosa con cama muy cómoda.
Baño limpio con toallas suficientes.
Se echa de menos mayor variedad de canales en la TV.
