Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Booking and Charges The hotel was fine but the hassle and confusion of the booking and charges was below expectations. Neither confirmation received by email matched the checkout charge. So my advice - print your confirmation before arrival 05 June 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by access for wheelchair user The room was very comfortable and clean, ditto for bathroom. However the mirror in the bathroom far to high on the wall. I was unable to gain accesss to the room or to leave on my own. Doors to heavy. Pull cords for assistance in bathroom and bedroom. I was worried about fire as I was a long way from reception and on 2nd floor. several sets of double doors between my room and the lift. However, my carer's room was free of charge and the staff were helpful on the whole. As a wheelchair user I would be unable to stay in this hotel on own.My vegan diet was catered for without any problems. I thought breakfast was expensive. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will use the hotel for my stay in 2015. 03 June 2014

The cooked breakfast could have been hotter, the aircon unit was faulty (just switched it off, which was fine), and on this occasion we couldn't get the wifi to work (which is unusual). However, overall good value if you can get the low advance booking rate with breakfast included. 02 June 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place, friendly and helpful staff This hotel is pleasant, the staff is caring for the hosts quality of stay and my only advice would be to improve the breakfast buffet: the orange juice is not satisfactory and the fruits salad was not optimal. I hope next time the breakfast will have improved, the rest is perfect! 02 June 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Handy car parking This hotel is very conveniently located, has excellent car park access, has an integrated Starbucks (although another brand would be better for those of us who like to boycott Starbucks for its tax avoidance policies). The room was comfortable, and (mark of a great hotel) the mirror in the bathroom was clear after a shower! 22 May 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A breath of fresh air! We chose Kenilworth as it was centrally located for our 5 day break in the Midlands. Little did we know what an exceptional service we were to get, which made up a great deal for the poor weather we encountered. Nothing was too much trouble and everything we asked for was delivered in minutes. Special mention needs to be made of Matt on the reception desk, his enthusiasm for his job and interest in ensuring our stay was as pleasant as could be was truly commendable and streets ahead of the bland reception at many other Hotels. Only sad to say that we understand Matt is leaving the company in the near future. As far as location is concerned we couldn't have asked for more. Kenilworth has a wealth of excellent restaurants all within a 10 - 15 minute walk of the Hotel 21 May 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible, noisy and hot Whilst the hotel looked lovely we had a terrible stay. There were a number of events on which we could clearly hear from our room coupled with lots of clanging plates from what sounded like the kitchen directly below our room. To top the disturbed sleep off our rooms was roasting despite having turned the heating off we opened the window to be grated by a vent from the kitchens humming all night!!!! 13 March 2014

Would definitely recommend this hotel and we thought it was excellent value for money. We can think of nothing that would have improved our stay. 11 March 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great business hotel I have stayed here a number of times on business. Great modern rooms with excellent free wifi and a nice desk to work with plenty of sockets. Breakfast is quite expensive but they will do porridge on request. The 'mini gym' is hard to find, is not always open and is very much on the 'mini' side. The hotel restaurant is perfectly adequate and the burger is actually quite nice. Internet speed is very good (when I get a reliable signal). The only complain I have is that WiFi signal gets very weak by the desk in the room I stayed in. 17 January 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great room at a reasonable rate. Stayed at this hotel several times and always had a very enjoyable experience. The location is excellent - a short walk from some really nice bars, pubs and restaurants. It's also not very far to drive to Stratford-upon-Avon or the Cotswolds. My only gripe is the variability of the room rates. Sometimes you can find excellent deals through the website and other times the prices seem a little prohibitive for a weekend stay. It's all very hit and miss when you log on to the website. Having said that, the room was excellent, the staff were efficient and courteous and there is a Starbucks downstairs which is great for breakfast. I would also recommend the bar opposite the hotel (Almanacks). Really friendly atmosphere and excellent food, especially the Sunday roasts. 10 January 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent location Very good hotel in a lovely situation. We had a very good nights sleep and were very comfortable. We were attending a family party in Kenilworth. The only problem was that despite booking four rooms four months in advance the hotel staff did not have our request to be situated next to each other. I had confirmed the booking the day before arrival with the hotel directly and even so the staff on duty were not aware of our request. However, they remedied this on arrival and were very helpful. 01 January 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Small rooms I think we had possibly he smallest double room I have ever stayed in. It was comfy enough but very small for two people. We were going to a wedding so we did really need more space to get ready . We did nt try the breakfast as it was so expensive. We used the pub/restaurat over the road which did a lovely breakfast for a fraction of the price. The attached Starbucks was nice although the opening times didnt make it that user friendly. I would stay again if in the area but I wouldnt recoment for a special or memerable occasion. 31 December 2013

The customer care was outstanding. The way they worked with us to ensure Christmas happened was second to none. The staff did their upmost to care, look after us, accommodate our change of times making what could have been a difficult time still special. We have stayed at this Hotel now a number of times and have always been pleased. Well done and thankyou. I would recommend to anyone as a good place to stay. 27 December 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent hotel Having driven down from the North, battled through the M6 and the road to Kenilworth I arrived at the hotel for a meeting, tired and fraught. The manager kindly supplied toast to the group, this was a very kind gesture and something I had not seen before in a hotel of this type. The staff were so friendly and if anything was asked for it arrived promptly. The car park is an issue but then its a small car park for the hotel, although other parking is available. food was great although the choice did not change. The room was excellent and the bed very comfortable, the noise was good as well even though my room overlooked the main road. The meeting facilities were excellent, with biscuits and drink laid on throughout the day. the hotel is very central to the town and within easy reach of other eating places. 19 November 2013
