Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff responsiveness I went out to the pool 1.5 hours after it opened for the day. There were no towels, so I went back in and told the desk clerk. Over the next 1.5 hours, I called back 4 times because despite being promised, no towels were brought to the pool. The desk clerk was aplogetic and kept promising towels that were never delivered. I finally asked to speak to the mananger. She showed up 10 minutes later with 4-5 towels. I explained what happened and why the situation was unacceptable. She did not apologize and she did not act as though the situation was at all unacceptable. She simply stated that the staff couldn't keep up with the towels. If the hotel has so few towels that they can't bring any to the pool until noon, it's time to get more towels and explain the concept of customer service to management. I do not want my comments posted as I do not want to detract from the hotel because otherwise it was a very good stay. But an internal corrective action is needed. 18 August 2014
