Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Welcoming Comfortable Hotel We were welcomed to the hotel when we arrived via the airport shuttle. We weren't there long before we were out to explore Boston. This hotel is very convenient to the Andrew Station subway stop and the shuttle took us there (and picked us up) daily. It gives you an affordable option to stay in Boston without the high cost. There is also a shopping center right behind the property that was very convenient. Breakfast was self serve but consisted of eggs, hot and cold cereals, bagels, breads, waffles, yogurts, fruit, teas and juices. Water was always available in the lobby and fresh baked cookies showed up at 6pm each night! When we returned each night, whomever was working the desk always made sure to greet us and ask us about our day. We felt very welcome and comfortable here and will be back. Each bed (two doubles) had four pillows to select from, which were labeled as soft or firm. The beds were comfortable and we never heard any noise in the hall or adjoining rooms. 26 August 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not the best location 1st impression was that the location was shady, right off the highway and in an industrial area. At check in, overheard a guest telling staff that her car was stolen from the parking lot. Staff was very accommodating throughout. Shuttle service provided to/from nearest T station (again, walking distance to hotel, but shady neighborhood). Walked it with the family, but only during daylight hours. Smartly waited in 24 hr. D&D for late night return shuttle. Convenient because parking in down town Boston is too pricey. Informed at check in that I'd get 300 bonus points as Platinum member, however I got 500 bonus points just 2 days earlier at a different HIE(?). Overall, price was best in Boston...quick drive to Sam Adams, Harpoon, and JFK Library. Helpful, cheerful staff. No pool, but secret access to sister hotel's pool next door. 25 August 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst IHG experience I've ever had! I stay at a lot of hotels, many of which are IHG hotels, and this was by far the worst experience I've ever had at an IHG hotel! We were checking in late (around midnight# and my wife went to look for a parking space while I went to check in. There was no bell at the desk and nobody to be seen. I had to yell to find someone to check me in. I got the key and went back outside to help my wife with the luggage. She was unable to find a space, so she parked at the end of a row next to the last actual space, and I said I'd go back to the desk to ask about additional parking after I helped her with the luggage. We got to the room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Normally, we'd go ask for another room, but I had a really early flight in the morning, so we weren't going to be there long, and I just wanted to get to sleep. I went down to the desk to ask about parking because I didn't want to get a ticket, but again, there was nobody at the desk. I hollered again, but this time nobody came, so I went back to the room and called from the room phone. On the phone, I was told that we were supposed to get a parking pass to hang in our window and that we could park at the hotel next door. Why on Earth was I not told this when I checked in?! At this point, I was already furious because it would have saved me a bit of time if the guy at the desk #who also wasn't very friendly) had told me about the parking when I checked in. Finally, I got back to the room, and I was ready for bed. My wife wanted to take a shower before bed, but she found the shower to be filthy. There were numerous hairs stuck to the wall! The toilette was also disgusting and also had hairs on the seat! She was too upset to go to bed, and by the time we both calmed down and fell asleep, it was almost time to get up. I ended up over-sleeping and missed my flight. Honestly, we'd have been better off sleeping in the airport. 22 August 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent overall experience. We spent 3 nights. The first two were booked well in advance due to the proximity of Logan AirPort. The final night, several days later, was booked the same day as our arrival. The reason we chose it for our final night in Boston was because of our favorable experience earlier. Of course, the rate was higher the final night, as expected. 22 August 2014
