Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 comfortable The hotel is really good but the breakfast is poor for the price of the stay. I had to wait a good 10 mins for the staff to replenish the hotplate food which is really unacceptable. I wasnt alone there was quite a queue waiting with plates. February 11, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Norwich Holiday Inn Express On a February night walking into a cold bedroom is not pleasant and to make it worse the air conditioning would not provide heat even after following the instructions provided. It would seem reasonable that one would be able to make the room the temperature they wanted. There were marks on the sofa. There were only two pots of milk with the tea facilities which is annoying if you want more than one hot drink. February 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for the money We were welcomed politely. The room was clean although perhaps a little warm as the sun was directly on it. Maybe the curtains could be closed after the rooms are prepared. My only complaint was the complimentary breakfast. It paid no compliments at all!! Seriously this hotel is excellent value. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great over night stay. A great value hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable although basic. Breakfast was good quality and very tasty. Throughout the hotel is very clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Our only disappointment was being woken up by next doors Virgin Health, waking us up at 6.30 to their hour long Zumba class (Monday morning). Thanks Virgin!!!! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor I have used a number of HI express hotels and have often found them rather basic but comfortable for a reasonable price, so its a matter of you pays your money and makes your choice. You don't get a 5* service here. However, the staff were really friendly and helpful on check in and we thought this will be good certainly a good "five star" attitude here. The free breakfast was OK too. However, unfortunately in other aspsects this one failed to meet the standards I would expect from this chain. They have spent money doing up the bathroom, but failed to change the mattress or at least used a VERY CHEAP and not very cheerful one!!! The bed mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs through it and when your partner moved you sprung out of bed, well not really that bad, but it was disturbing. Although the bathroom had fairly recently been refurbished and it looked nice. The sink was cracked January 27, 2016
