Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Staff but dated, tired hotel I stayed here only for 2 days... the staff was absolutely fantastic. I think they tried very hard to make sure we were taken care of. But to be honest, for Abu Dhabi standards, the hotel was old, tired... it seemed like I walked into a scene from a 1980s movie. Other than that, excellent!!! 12 September 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel It is indeed a nice hotel and a very good room, though it was disappointing that the points you get now for a stay in intercontinental is less than before after the change of the way that the points are calculated especialy when it is a one night stay I guess. 06 September 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing Hotel We Spend 12 Days at this Incredible Hotel and had a great Vacation. Our Room had a beautiful view over the Beach/Sea and was very well Equipped. The only thing that would make the rooms even better would be a proper coffee maker as there is only a water heater in the room. The newly built Pool area opened 2 days after our Arrival and is a great improvement over the old Pool. The breakfast and Dinner Buffet is very recommendable as there is always a huge choice of different incredible meals which were all delicious. Also the staff was just fantastic, everybody we met was very friendly and attentive. Especially Raouf the Concierge was amazing as he gave us great advice on where to go in abu dhabi and furthermore helped us a lot on our check out day as our travel agency forgot to pick us up for the airport. He called the Agency and within 20 minutes we were off to the airport. All in all it was a great Vacation and we will definitively try to come back next year! 05 September 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Service Sehr guter Service im Hotel aber eher schlechter Service am Strand. Strandtücher muss man selbst zu den Liegen tragen. Kein Hilfe wie sonst bei 5Sternehotels üblich. Es wurde auch keine Erfrischung, wie z.B. feuchte Tücher, Obst, usw. angeboten, wie z.B. im Interconti Dubai. Schlechte Musikauswahl im Buffetrestaurant, beim Abendessen war es auch immer zu kalt, richtig unangenehm. Man konnte das Essen nicht geniessen. 31 August 2014
