Our second visit to this resort. Previously We stayed for 7 nights with our daughters (6 & 8 yrs) in a club room. The additional benefits of club level were great value for money and worth the extra cost. It allowed great family and also peronal couple time ( kids enjoyed free kids club - equall to best we've experienced). Mornings gave a great range of breakfast venues which helped over 7 days to keep some variety, evening cocktails were a hit around the club pool with the kids, or by the piano as couple without ( kids enjoying kids club which also offered evening meals so we had the odd dinner on our own)
Rooms are well maintained and perfectly serviced.
Room service was always efficient and timely.
The Italian restaurant at the resort is also of an amazingly high standard and a must do.
The spa facilites are also high enjoying couple treatments on each stay.
Our most recent trip was a quick but perfectly relaxing 4 day 3 night stay without our kids. Laying by the Club pool ( there is about 5 pools in total) - enjoying the spoils again of club services and facilities made it the perfect recharge for a long weekend.
Thanks to Dewi and her entire team - we'll be back!

Over the last three years, I have been going regularly to Interco Bali with my family or for professional reasons.
A we will be leaving Indonesia, I wanted to take my wife one last night without the children, which requires some logistics organization.
Arriving at the resort, checkin time was very long, there was no king size bed available, and we could only get into the room at 3pm.
But the worse is when we left on Sunday, we had breakfast at 9, came back to room At10am, and somebody was already making up the beds as if we had checked out.
We checked out at 12, and left disappointed by this last experience.
I understand the hotel was full at 90 per cent, but still ...

Very good family duplex , comfortable bed as we're at home. The breakfast is so good that we appreciate a lot. The fresh juice, and the coffee, very various choices.
The swimming pools, so lovely for the kids, for us as we'll. the pagoda beside the beach or beside the b
Pool are so beautiful and comfortable. there are flowers everywhere . Great staff too! And the unforgettable sunset that we've never seen before!
But some problem too, when we were at room for the nap, they had a kind if alarm check which lasted a few minutes with a speaker crying just in your ears. Can't really stand it , we had to call twice to stop this.
And the room cleaning is always late even we've asked.

Must get great club benefits when you stay at this hotel, especially if you have kids with you.
The club benefit includes complimentary access to kids club, breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktail.
As an ambassodor member, room was upgraded and well-prepared. Room is a little dated but still well maintained.
Recommend this resort to anyone who want to relex.

I am so happy that we stayed at this hotel in Bali. The excellent reviews at Tripadvisor and the pictures shown in their website were the reasons why I chose to book here. And true enough, when we arrived at the resort, they even exceeded my expectations. The place is so calm, relaxing, spacious, perfectly maintained, the staff were very welcoming, food was great, especially the grilled fish, the room was very comfortable, i like the touch of wood/Balinese interior in the hotel, it felt so cozy. Amenities and facilities were excellent..... the beach is clean and not crowded, very private and so easy to find the perfect spot to relax either in front of the beach or the several pools available. Location is not far from the city and airport. Definitely recommended if you want to have a peaceful and relaxing holiday in Bali.

My experiences with the hotel begins from the moment on arrival check-in where my family is treated very well and the check-in was extremely fast. The room was very well kept and room service was great. The staffs even took the extra efforts to all the care and share for my family. Exceptional service was the Singaraja Concierge whom took the extra mile to get my child's favourite fruit even though it's not available at the lounge, the Front Desk Manager who tried so hard to get the fish food for my child to feed the fishes and the restaurant staff who also brought my child to feed the fishes whilst we dine during breakfast. Overall, the hotel service is exceptional and I would thank all the staffs for a very enjoyable stay.
Only 1 small mishap was when I shower half way and total water stoppage. Had to wait for about half an hour did the water resumes. Nonetheless, this will not hinder me from rating a 5 star service to the hotel. I would confidently recommend this hotel in Bali to anyone.

The service level of the staff was exceptional and everyone was responsive while not being intrusive. The food here was by far the best consistently we had while in Bali. The breakfast buffet was well above average in quality and value. The swim up pool and pool bar were a definite treat.The work out facility was also superior to any others on the island and comparable to US standards.
Highly recommend all around.

Your 35 acres of gardens were like paradise and the location on the beach just added to the ambience of the Intercontinental.The food was fantastic and the service was ten out of ten.I was injured whilst staying at the hotel but the attention by the Doctors and your clinic staff was extremely good , please pass on my thanks

I stayed two nights at this hotel in April. The experience has been positive until check out. Let me start with the positives:
1. Expansive property. Landscaping and sculptures well maintained. Public areas immaculate.
2. Pool area especially attractive. Plenty to do.
3. Room large, well furnished and well maintained.
4. Breakfast selection very good!
5. Jimbaran Garden food good quality and decently priced.
6. Check in procedure warm and courteous.
7. Uluwatu spa good if not great.
Now the negatives:
I have had a bad experience with check out. I thought I prepaid when I made the booking via IC website, as the room charge was advance purchase and was not refundable. I checked my credit card account online and it looks like there is already a charge from IC Bali. The female clerk, in a very abrupt manner, told me she has to run my card again. The Assistant Front Office Manager, a Mr. NS, was called, who had the same rude and abrupt manner. Anyway, the lobby is not air conditioned and the process took a long time and I was getting sweaty. I said OK run my card again but please make sure no double charge. Mr. NS said no problem, write down your email address and I'll make sure I check on Monday and send you an email to confirm. Guess what? That email never arrived.
Actually by itself it's a small issue. Even if double charge happened, I can sort it out with my credit card company. However, the way IC Bali staff handled the situation was abrupt and unprofessional. It left a bitter taste.
A second complaint (small) is that the concierge quotes ridiculous taxi fees. I asked about transportation to Ubud: she said $80 for hotel car and $60 for non-hotel car that's not metered. I asked approximately how much would a Bluebird taxi cost? She said 300,000 rupiah. I decided to take a Bluebird taxi, metereed, and the trip cost was 193,000 rupiah. OK by all means take a reasonable commission, but it appears that the concierge got greedy.

The rooms should be renovated meanwhile.
Food and drinks in the restaurant are for Balinese relations too expensive. So probably many guests go outside to other restauranst for dinner. For example "Metis" restaurant. Excellent food for around 30-40 % less.

We had a lovely relaxing stay. We really enjoyed being apart of the Club. Our accomodation was very nice and we felt very looked after. Having the beach right there was great and gave us some great boogie boarding fun. For dinner we would walk down the beach and enjoy the tide coming in while we ate at a beach restaurant. We can only suggest that the ladies in the kids club find some laughter as the my two children were disappointed with the atmosphere of the Kids Club. In saying that the Kids club offered some fantastic activities and a great venue.

Intercontinental Bali Resort has just hosted my daughters wedding. It was the most amazing experience from start to finish. From the moment the enquiry was made to the end of the event the professionalism was outstanding. The venue at Alun Alun was amazing, the setting was breathtaking, the organisational skills of the events team where at an extremely high level very professional and knowledgeable. The decorations the table settings and the locations was absolutely beautiful. The food was at a 5 star level and we would recommend anyone considering having an overseas wedding in Bali to contact this hotel because it will be well worth your while in the end. The price was also very competative for an overseas wedding and staff are amazing. PLEASE consider this hotel for your wedding event you will be so happy you did. I would be very happy if anyone wanted to contact me for any information on what we experienced. We were very happy with the whole package.

Was uncertain initially staying at Jimaran Bay, due to the close proximity of airport. Found there was no issue as planes head off in the opposite direction. Wonderful hotel, with many varied pools to use. The Club rooms were particularly special with all the included facilities that come with them. Well worth the difference in room price. AN ENJOYABLE holiday, with extremely welcoming & efficient staff.

From the moment we arrived till the time we left, the staff looked after us with immense pride. We were made to feel special and had no reason to complain. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. Concierge services were super and the spa is a really special place to unwind.

Have just had five amazing days at the intercontinental. Absolutely fantastic. Wsh I was back there. My two children aged 10 and 12 are missing all the friends they made there.
The service was excellent, the resort was like paradise, the food amazing, and the scenery just divine. I am missing it very much and cannot wait to return. The foot massages were just heaven. The pools beautiful.

Thankyou for our recent stay at the Intercontinental Jimbaran Bay. We had a wonderful family holiday and look forward to returning soon. The facilities are excellent and despite our initial planning we spent the majority of our time at the resort, rather than heading out.
The staff were fantastic, particularly with our young son which took the pressure off us as parents.

I have stayed at the Bali Intercontinental a number of times. Each time I arrive I am so glad to be back. The way I am met and checked in and the view through the lobby to the ocean is an experience that connects me to Bali. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and incredibly well maintained and the staff are always pleasant and helpful

Both my husband and myself and our 3 year old just enjoyed another stay at this stunning hotel. We used the kids club this time and was the best thing we ever did - the nannies were fantastic and we used this service several times and would highly recommend. We will be back for another great stay soon.

We were in a "Dream world" from the moment we stepped in, right from "ringing of the dong" on arrival, preferential treatment being a Priority Club member, a large room with a sea view even though it was not the "pricey" option, ever friendly staff eager to help, so much to do for the kids including cooking lessons on Balinese cuisine, fantastic private beach with life guards, great evenings with various local cultural events every evening, lazy evenings next to the pool / beach, easy access to airport / Kuta beach.. in all, a memorable experience.
Thanks IHG.. Good luck.. You have a patron who will need lot of convincing to move away to another hotel chain.
NB: As a consultant, I have seen more hotels that what I wish to :-)..

My stay at this hotel was great..from being welcomed as i arrived to the checking out time. My arrival time was 11.30am earlier than check in time however the hotel staff greeted me and ask that i wait a few minutes so they could arrange a room for me i was in my room 20mins later. The pool...awesome i swam most of the days and used the swim up bar and the staff were always happy offering great service. Breakfast was awesome so much to choice from all looked and tasted perfectly could not fault. The grounds are very well kept and the beach was great.
I had a small problem with the lighting and tv which was remeded inside 10 mins. I had an evening meal of fish from a local resturant and a fish bone lodged in my mouth ..ouch it became infected. I spoke to the front desk and i was taken to the onsite clinic where the doctor gave me atnibiotics and the next day i was back enjoiying evethting this great resort had to offer. I can praise the staff enough and cant wait to revisit this great resort.

This was our first visit to Bali and we were very happy that we selected the Intercontinental for our stay. As Club members we were always greeted by friendly staff members who attended to all of our needs. The grounds are beautiful as is the uncrowded beach and great local flair. A must vacation spot.

Our second trip to the Intercontinental even better than the first. Wonderful service, beautiful gardens, food and drink very expensive, a cocktail costing approx $12-$15 AUD. The breakfast included in our room rate though is one of the best we've had anywhere through out South East Asia. We hope to come back.

I emailed and received a response for my arrival time of approximately 3:00...The hotel acknowledged my arrival time.
After arriving at 3:30 for a Valentine Getaway of 2 days at the hotel, the reservations manager informed me my room would not be ready until 7:00 PM. As a continental platinum Ambassador, late check out times are normally only extended till 4:00PM, if the hotel kenew my arrival time 2 days in advance, how is it my occupancy of the room was delayed. I reserved and paid for a Resort Suite Room...no additional consideration was made for my Ambassador Status. the reservations manager offered me another room to use until our room was ready, and paid for dinner minus the Alcohol ( clearly a day pass to the Continental club should have been offered), plus a free massage. Although a good attempt, it clearly did not rectify the inconvenience. We settled in an unpacked around 8:00PM, leaving a 2 night stay a total inconvenience the first night. The month before staying at the Intercontinental in Manhatten was truly a rewardin experience. I only live 45 minutes from the Bali Intercontinental, an email of the problem would have left us not as nomads waiting in the hotel

It is always a pleisure to stay at the club of the Intercontinental Resort in Bali.
The clubmanager and her team are very professional, friendly and show great hospitality.
The gardens and the pools are beautiful. The beach is very clean.
The restaurants offer a lot of specialities and the Bella Cucina is for us the number one .
For sure we will come back at this lovely Resort.
