Presidente Mexico City

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 130 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My Presidente Stay Everything was perfect! Great room, great view of the city, great restaurants in and near the Hotel, professional staff, safe and secure! I would recommend this property to all who would travel to Mexico City. 26 August 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dissappointing Not enough front office staff. Wireless Internet di not work well. Had to call staff several times to get the Internet service enabled . 18 August 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Service slow Frontdesk Service and room service were slow. I had to wait for an extra bed and one extra towel for about 3 hours and about 3 calls. No Swimming Pool for a Hotel of this category? Personnel showed kindness and hospitality all the time. Thanks 11 August 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Hotel in Mexico City Conveniently located in Mexico City’s best District (Polanco), you have nice restaurants, museums, parks, within walking distance or a quick taxi ride. But the best part, it’s their staff hospitality; they are always seeing how to exceed customer expectations. 05 August 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service and comfort I enjoyed a few days of vacation excellent with plenty of comfort, extremely courteous staff and very good restaurants. I highly recommend it for a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. Thank you very much! 03 August 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good location and service I like a lot the location, rooms and service from the hotel, but the only thing I didn't understand was the sign hanging from the hotel related to government authority, nobody told us nothing just to know what was going on. 30 July 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Poor service in Au Pied de Cochon I have been going to Au Pied de Cochon since it opened, I have always had good food good wine and good service. Last week I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, I was given a glass of wine from a bottle with Sancerre on the label. When I tried it I thought that it did not taste very much like Sancerre but as I had been eating a mint I did not reject it. At the end of my meal, oysters only, I called the sommelier and told him that the wine tasted like no Sancerre I had ever had. His attitude was that he couldn't care less and that it was obviously Sancerre as that what it said on the bottle. He didn't even try the wine. Not the standard that I expect from a restaurant of quality 19 July 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by TAXI FARES Only one concern, the taxis offered by the hotel vary greatly. One example, to go to the "Estadio Azteca" (which is pretty far) was 350 pesos. To go to the airport(which is relatively close) was 360 pesos. There should be more info on prices and/or how they charge. 19 July 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bad amenittes Very bad amenittes, I had called twice for less stuff 12 July 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always a reliable choice when in Mexico City I keep coming back here every year because I feel comfortable and know I will be taken well care of. Please help me get my Priority Club points for my stay. Last year I had to call three times before I received my points. Thanks! 27 June 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 AMBASSADOR CATEGORY NOR RECOGNIZED DEAR SIRS, THIS IS THE SECOND HOTEL WHERE I ARRIVE AND DO NOT RECOGNIZE MY AMBASSADOR STATUS. IT IS INCREADIBLE!!! WHAT A MISTAKE JOINING THAT CLUB REWARD!!! 18 June 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 polvo pica pica It was a great stay! Very good service! My girlfriend really enjoyed the stay 18 June 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by I was charged by charges I shouldn´t be charged with I arrived to the hotel with prepaid vouchers for B&B and they tried to charge me with breakfast. By the way, if you don't have B&B, don't eat breakfast there. It is extremely expensive (310 Mexican Pesos, before tipping). I checked in as a Priority member, which entitles me for an internet connection for 10 USD a day. The bill they printed for me was the regular price of 20 USD. Sure enough, they corrected the errors, but it left a bitter taste. 05 June 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lousy front desk Nothing the hotel staff will do during my stay will remain in my memory if the check out experience is bad and almost miss my flight. at 06:30 only two staff the front desk when 7 or 8 guests want to check out. I waited at least 15 minutes, did not have time to check my bill and left the hotel in a very bad mood. 04 June 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Managed staff the entire time I recently stayed in this property for a quick five days and four night’s getaway. I made my reservations well in advance and used an Intercontinental Ambassador Free Weekend Night voucher. The reservation was made by the agent and she used three different confirmations. Not clear why but went along with it. This proved to be a problem as on three different occasions I had to advise the front desk that I was not checking out, as they thought I was. At the time of check out I was over billed and it took staff three attempts to take off the charges that did not apply to our room, chief among them the night that was to be covered by the voucher. He went back and forth with his manager. Also, at the time of making the reservation I was assured an upgrade (don't make promises you can't deliver) by the agent. When I arrived at the hotel I was not upgraded and in fact was told that properties may or may not recognize some, all or none of the Intercontinental Ambassador benefits. Even though a complimentary upgrade is part of the perk of being an Ambassador Club member. So there is a discrepancy between the perks I get in the U.S. versus those in other countries. I have actually experienced this in Managua, Nicaragua. We did speak to a staff person three hours later and were upgraded to a Jr. Suite the following day. She really worked hard for this and truly thank her for the effort. For the entire length of the stay I was managing staff and redirecting staff to look at the reservation and various confirmation numbers. I was assured on several occasions that “we took care of this and it won’t happen again” but the fact is that it happened on several occasions. Our keys would turn off as the system had us checking out on three different occasions. I just wish that as an Intercontinental Ambassador member those benefits should be honored across the board. The hotel and the location are just phenomenal. However, staff need more training both customer service and managing reservations. I speak English and Spanish fluently and do not believe that language was a barrier. 04 June 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Only people who know what they are doing is the valet guys & restaurants Horrible experience. Front desk is arrogant and rude. Not customer oriented. They are slow and don't know what they are doing. Furthermore, they don't care what they are doing. It only got better when we got the front desk manager and that was on our departure. You should never need to talk to a manager at a hotel. Bathrooms need a total revamp and the housekeeping service needs serious training. Rooms were clean, but scheduling, what housekeeping takes and what they leave, how they refresh is a disaster. Nothing is fast. Only after we were there a week and we complained did the bar service get good. Restaurants are the only thing you have going for you. Location doesn't count because there are too many other similar hotels in the area. We will never stay with you again. 31 May 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor concierge service First 5 star hotel in the world, where no concierge or other staff open the door to access to the lobby of the hotel Very disappointing ! Bad sign for a welcome. 26 May 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by So, so Very serviceable room staff and breakfast staff. Not so good for check-in and check-out (usual queue at the counter) Should compare with its next door neighbor hotel and try to compete. Price not really reasonable 23 May 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Always a good choice in Polanco Location great for walking to restaurants and the Busques/Castle. Decently convenient when driving in the early AM pre-730 AM. Addition of lobby bar vs. cart is a nice new touch. Room view over the National Auditorium is awesome. Rooms, albeit older, still maintain sufficient modern look/feel. 21 May 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Improvement with the service at Frutas y Flores restaurant Very good the attention received from Juan Carlos at Frutas y Flores, the others still need to improve their attitude and service. 13 May 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Late check in and early check out! On the chek in the receptionist couldn't give us a room until 5pm. Next morning at 11am our keys were deactivated and our registration was deleted. The receptionist had to give us new keys. Bad experience. 11 May 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by mas o menos, menos i am an ambassador and this is one of the few properties, that I do not get upgraded to use the lounge facilities and have to pay for wireless. 28 April 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Concierge and management and food Concierge was very helpful and accommodating while the management staff. the on site food is also very over priced when compared to the many locations within a few blocks 24 April 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Intercontinental Campos Eliseos Mexico City? In the past few years I have stayed several times in this hotel when traveling to Mexico on my business trips. The location in Polanco is safe and is perfect. The hotel has increased it's prices, and the comfort of the rooms is below Intercontinental standards. The rooms are outdated and the bathrooms need some repairs. Although I would recommend the Intercontinental hotels in Santa Fe, Puebla and Guadalajara, I would not recommend the Campos Eliseos Intercontinental hotel based upon my latest stay in April 2013. 22 April 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT The process of check in and check out was really slow, the staff is not capacitated enough. The invoice was requested three times by phone when it must be an automatic step, 17 April 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and Good Experience The staff provided great service and care for each guest in our business group. The hotel has plenty to offer from gym, breakfast, club room, and restaraunts. I always enjoy returning to the Presedente Intercontinental Mexico City. 17 April 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by WiFi It is rude and cheap to charge Priority Club members for WiFi. Other premium providers do not do this. 13 April 2013
