Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One Night Stay We had not booked any accomodation so when we turned up TJ at the front desk looked after us reallly well. The room was amazing and it even had its own fireplace. It was truely outstanding and is a great place to stay. 23 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Ambassador membership Made reservation on Oct. 29 for stay in December. As ambassador member upgrade to next type room. Well was not informed, until registration that hotel would not be able to honor upgrade. Well I would like to have known sooner, so that I could have changed my reservation to other dates, so that my upgrade would be available. Not too cool for a hotel that is supposed to be a step above. Also being an ambassador member, you are supposed to have a fruit platter waiting for you in your room, along with a small gift of appreciation from hotel. Well of course it was not in room, when I asked the bell boy he said that it would soon arrive. Well what arrived seemed like fruit quickly put into a plain white soup bowl, wrapped in cellophane top to bottom, and a chocolate bar with a card welcoming to hotel. Felt like I spent good money becoming a member of this ambassador club, to not get upgrade and to have a bowl of fruit wrapped in cellophane. So hotel did try to make up for lack of upgrade by giving us $50 off each night, but with same room, not even giving a room with better view etc.. The staff with exception of initial registration staff, was awesome, overall all services were what was to be expected, however if the hotel strives to be an above average hotel, it needs to pay attention to detail and communication. 21 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Luxerious accomodations The hotel and staff were so welcoming and the accommodations were wonderful! The soaking bath was perfect to relax in. The fireplace was very romantic. The restaurant was the only disappointment. The food and atmosphere was great, however our waiter was not attentive :( We had to ask for all drink refills. The atmosphere, pricing and location should employ only the best of servers, but...not in our case. Quite disappointing. We just ate elsewhere for the rest of our stay. 19 December 2014

Our stay at The Clement was excellent in so many ways - a great view of the bay, the sounds of the surf through the balcony door, the fireplace in our room, and the central location to Monterey's sites. We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit with a glass of wine, chatting with other hotel guests. Hotel staff were friendly and customer focused. We'll be sure to stay at The Clement when we return to this area. 18 December 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great location Overall a great hotel. The best location and relatively new compared to the other hotels in Monterrey. The rooms were well done except for the well worn sofa in the Suite. I do wish they had softer towels (or maybe less worn towels). Definitely a great staff, I just wished they did a separate check in for ambassadors. 12 December 2014
