Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tash We love staying at this hotel. A few disappointing moments this stay, we didn't receive our bags in our room until we called a third time, which isn't the norm. We also didn't receive our morning newspaper, although we had the sign on our door from 9pm the evening prior. In the past both my husband and I have received a complimentary bottle of water and evening chocolate, only 1 of each was left on this occasion. 30 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel Experience This hotel is by far the best hotel i have stayed in for the past 10 years. Having traveled worldwide there are not many offerings that can match the experience of this hotel. The staff are excellent and make me feel like family. Staying in hotels for the bulk of the year i have come to have knowlege on most aspects of the hotel industry and would not stay anywhere else except the IHG group unless they dont have a pressence were i am travelling to. Its an excellent experience in the sydney Intercontinental hotel full stop 29 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Australia Day Weekend Bliss Hubby & I needed a getaway & decided that Sydney was to be our destination. Having had 2 great stays previously at the Adelaide Intercontinental we were quite confident we would enjoy their Sydney hotel. The location of the Hotel is excellent, being in walking distance of the Opera House, the Harbour Bridge, the Rocks, the Botanical Gardens etc. etc. Arriving a few hours earlier than the 3pm check in time we were very kindly welcomed & offered an early check in which allowed us to unpack & check out the hotel amenities. Having booked a Club room we popped upstairs & were blown away by the most spectacular view from the Heads up past Lunar Park. The Club staff offered us drinks & snacks right away. We returned to the club for evening canapés & a full breakfast each morning. Even though the Club room was filled to capacity each day, the very professional staff handled everyone's numerous requests with aplomb. We used the gym facilities each day & had a quick dip in the pool which offered great views also. Being so close to everything enable us to walk to most sites we were keen to see & partake in the Australia day celebrations. We did bother the poor harassed looking concierge for local information a few times too! As IHG rewards club members we were offered a late (2pm) checkout & then left our bags with the porters so we could enjoy the sights until our 8pm flight. All in all we had a fabulous weekend thanks to the hospitality & location of the Sydney Intercontinental Hotel 29 January 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wonderful visit Although we had to wait for our room, it was not a surprise since we came in with a group from a cruise line. Once in, our room was lovely and clean. Loved the special attention to ensuring fresh linens, turndown and that wonderful touch with chocolates. The location of your establishment was so convenient for walking many places and connecting to Jump on/Jump off bus. We only wish we would have had more time to explore your beautiful city. 27 January 2015
