Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing breakfast, but noisy kindergarten at the pool I don't think I need to praise what the website already shows: wonderful rooms with spectaulat views, a beautiful pool (although my one critique applies here - more later), friendly staff... The surprise was breakfast - a buffet that was not only huge in selection, but also beautifully put together so the whole buffet was a treat for the eyes as well. In addition: a harpist !! What an amazing idea - beautiful live harp music for breakfast... and not just a weekend Sunday brunch - this was mid-week! I have never experienced that before and must admit that that was the magical "wow" moment for me! On the down side: the pool is wonderful, the view from the pool amazing - but the staff need to walk around and make sure everything is OK - and not just lounge around at the fitness area reception: That way, they would notice when a hoard of screaming children would be jumping in and out of the pool in the evening (we were there around 20h) splashing around so no one could swim laps, making a huge amount of noise and completely destroying the entire wellness aspect. If parents cannot ask their children to behave (screaming, jumping, etc. are clearly prohibited if you read the sign) then it is the RESPONSIBILITY of the staff to enforce the rules. They failed and did not care. This is a premium wellness area, not a kindergarten. 16 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location, Great Hotel Very well run, centrally located hotel. In typical Intercontinental style, the service and rooms were fantastic. The Club Lounge was located on a high floor with fabulous views of Warsaw. Taking breakfast and an evening cocktail here was delightful. Well done Intercontinental, yet another memorable stay, for all the right reasons! 13 November 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Long weekend in Warsaw Yes, I like this place, always happy to be back. The Staff is friendly and helpfull (problems with suitcase). Good quality cosmetics in the bathroom, fluffy bathrobs and towels. Room services fast. Excellent recognitions of Ambassador Club Members. Upgrade confirmed, room ready. Late check-out possible. Other amenities ready too. Club - still better, this is a very good option. Is it not possible to limit the access to the Club for adults only? Club is not a place for children. I think that many guests will therefore satisfied, Club is not a court or playing field, The Club should be more unique and exceptional. There are only pluses in this property, the best option for stays in Warsaw. Consistently, from many years. I'll be back again as soon as possible. 12 November 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Helpful and courteous staff Stayed on a business trip and was not disappointed, even with very high expectations. The staff are the biggest asset of this hotel, every one I encountered was extremely helpful and very courteous. The facilities and services are exactly what to expect from Intercontinental hotels, the staff though, set it apart. 10 November 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by mistake I had taken 20 flights during October and decided to take a weekend break in Warsaw. I book the Intercontinental and sadly was not informed that it was all saints weekend so Warsaw was closed. Nothing open. I mean nothing. The hotel also failed to inform me that the hotel was holding a student event and the hotel was over run with drunk partying students, who kept me awake until 5am on a Sunday morning. I did not notify the staff, as I remember doing the same and if I was younger would be partying with them, so did not want to ruin their evening. I still feel the hotel should have notified me and I would have changed hotels or destination or both. The 2 days cost me 3000 euros and I might as well have just set fire to the money. Their expensive restaurant is a joke, so do not eat there. The hotel itself and staff, I would recommend. 4 star, not 5, but for business or get away it's fine. 05 November 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A good "come back" After almost 2 years of my absence, I came back to InterContinental Warsaw. When I was there several times in 2011 and 2012 everything was perfect. And almost all remained as perfect as it was some time ago. Why almost ? Well, the food menu served to rooms is not so reach as it was. The night menu (served from 23pm till morning) has also beed limited. I understand there is maybe no need to have a large menu, but still - I was quite dissapointed. The next thing is "no piano" issue in +One Bar. Mr Albert was "moved" to Platter restaurant, and now there is his "piano kingdom". In my decent opinion - piano was integral part of +One Bar, and it should be there forever with Mr Albert The Pianist ;) Those "minuses" - to tell the truth - are really nothing - but if you can do something with that, the perfect perfection will be reached then again :) 05 November 2014
