Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great business stopover Last time I stayed here the refurbishment was in full swing, it is a pleasure to see the new lobby up and running. Nice clean lines and a good place to meet with friends or business associates. The new rooms are great, but not better sleep quality than the older ones in my view. 08 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A treat We decided to treat ourselves when visiting the WOW, and we were not disappointed, excellent hotel. We had some problem controlling the heating but that was probably just us, we like a cool room and it was too windy to leave the window open. I must admit though it was wonderful to have a window that opened in a high rise hotel. Also if you get a chance, have the morning tea with a date scone, it was excellent. I was not fond of the 'window' in the bathroom but I guess it did add more natural light? 08 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pristine rooms and exceptional service Room was pristine after renovations.The beds were so comfortable. Staff were exceptional,very happy to pass on knowledge of the surrounding area particularly shops we wished to visit. The food in the Chameleon Restaurant was delicious and especially enjoyed the options the menu provided.Along with the very professional and friendly staff,made our dining experience memorable. Look forward to returning soon. 08 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely staff Only there for 1 night. Lots to do in that time. Beautiful car to be ferried around in and right in the hub of wellington. After dining at the restaurant wasnt so worried about not getting into logan browns. Food was beautiful. Lovely lovely staff that all spoke good english well done 06 October 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely Hotel We had only a short stay , for The Wearable Art Weekend ,lovely hotel very stylish and comfortable ,the staff were friendly and helpful, seamless service. The room was lovely great bathroom and the beds were very comfortable!!! My sister and I had a great time. I've stayed in some very nice hotel in France and Italy recently and although they were great and the experiences were memorable the whole package was never quite there so 10 out 10 because there was nothing amiss. 03 October 2014

Recently refurbished, it is now looking every bit a bright new hotel and is certainly the best in Wellington - if not New Zealand. The staff are professional, friendly and effective. From the Concierge to the Room Service (and all the necessary support offices), this hotel works at international best practice. It is well managed and staff are selected carefully. The dedication to teamwork is obvious. The newly restructured Club Lounge is a real winner - in all respects. 21 September 2014

Amongst all the chaos the staff were still so friendly, professional and very approachable. Personally I didn't find any of the rennovations an inconvenience and this was mainly due to the excellent staff. My room on this occasion was superb, even more comfortable thank usual. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good service, though the room is a bit smaller than expected. We stayed in the Club floor and had our breakfast in the Club lounge. The Club Manager, Jenna, was so kind to introduce local tea and juices, and even offered some complimentary gifts with a lovely card to my parents. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wouldn't stay anywhere else I visit Wellington quite often for business activities and always look forward to staying at the Intercontinental. The staff truly know how to look after you, are always pleasant and courteous and seem to be able to pre-empt my needs yet without being overbearing. The service and facilities are as good as anywhere I stay throughout the world. Even though I arrived on the final day of their refurbishment they took care of my needs as if service was as normal. The upgrade was most appreciated and Club facilities made my business requirements simple to achieve. Previous use of the function rooms are always well organised and i have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. 10 September 2014
