Second room attempt much better

Checked in approx. 9PM. Young man at the front desk was friendly and professional. Assigned a room on the 3rd floor (reserved 1st floor). Entered room and found empty beer cans, slept-in bed, dirty bathroom and wet towels in the shower. Front desk clerk was apologetic, saying this was the 3rd room he needed to reassign that night due to cleanliness. 2nd room was much better, only critique is that the commode was not bolted firmly to the floor. Breakfast was excellent!

Great hotel, but a horrible booking experience with IHG.

Hotel was very clean and personnel were very nice in all respects. My complaints were with IHG that made false promises at booking and failed to live up to them. I will never use IHG again.

Sleepless Night

It was a sleepless night caused by the malfunction of the TV system. Details:
1. when we entered the room, the TV screen was in sleeping mode with Samsung logo travelling across the screen randomly;
2. we watched TV and turned it off using the remote control when were in bed, the screen lit up in 5 minutes after it was turned off, waking us up
3. We repeatedly tried to turn the TV off using the remote control but it got on repeatedly after 2-5 min.
4. There were no other means to turn the whole system off as the cabling was hidden behind the TV panel;
5. we finally got some sleep after my wife covered the luminous TV panel with shower towels.
6. Result - sleepless night and headache in the morning
7. We reported the issue to the front desk in the morning and were told it was a problem with many other rooms in the hotel

Very loud!!!

Put us on the first floor adjacent to 2 exit doors. Very loud with doors opening and closing at all hours. Did not like being on the first floor, but was told the hotel was sold out.

Neighbors were up very late, and the walls are thin. Sounded like they were throwing a basketball against the wall.

No laundry on site.

Room was average.

2 irons, but no hair dryer.
Breakfast was grab and go, so go early!

The shower pressure is probably 80% power

It's efficient and has everything you need and exactly enough to get you in the door . Alternatively, you could spend another $50 per night and visit the StayBridge Suites next door. If you have to work in West Chester though, this location is unbeatable and everything you might need is within a short walk or a 6 minute drive.

Good hotel, great location

Two couples stayed here early April mid-week for a trip along the Butler County Donut Trail. Hotel is clean and no-frills comfortable. Plenty of places to sit in lobby area with TVs, and plenty of charging ports. Lobby sofas and chairs are not soft cushioned, however. Love the walk-in shower and plenty of hot water. Did notice that no grab bars in shower area, and door leaked water on floor. (fixable things) Staff are friendly and helpful. Will probably stay here again!

Already written on the survey no cleaning service for entire 3 days bathroom is broken sink water spay all over the place and shower is leaking and small water wall is dirty elevator is dirty breakfast is not good

Ok last resort hotel

1 small microwave in the lobby for the entire hotel. None in the rooms. I almost went to Walmart and bought one. How inconvenient to carry all your food down an elevator, just to stand in line to heat it up. Taking just the food that you want to heat up and going back to your room doesn't work because it's cold by the time you get back to your room. I was told it was a building code issue. I'm a contractor. I don't believe them. It's a tactical move by management to keep as much food out of the room as possible. 1 ice machine in lobby also. Akways empty. No pool. Gym is big enough for about 3 people max to workout.

Very dirty

The hotel lobby had over flowing trash. The elevator floor was dirty. The halls needed swept. My room had what appeared to a booger on the ceiling, discolored caulking in the shower, orange stains on the bathroom wall that looked like a pop exploded on the wall. I pulled back the covers and the white comforter had a stain that looked like a blood spot maybe. I left and went to Meijer to buy a sheet set and blanket. I stripped the bed and slept with the stuff I bought. I was extremely disappointed in my stay. I stay at other IHG hotels all the and have never left a bad review.

Perfect for an overnight stay

This hotel has all the right amenities for comfortable stay. Nothing too fancy, but the right things needed. Rooms were clean, and beds comfy. We only stayed one night and it was perfect for our family of 4. We didn't use all the facilities but checked them out and they looked good. My husband was impressed at the functionality of the strength training facilities - not a large facility but the right equipment for strength workout. Breakfast was adequate for being free - scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, toast and muffins. Eggs a little salty, but there's good selection - and it's included so don't expect anything too fancy.
