Hotel stay

I was very impressed with check in and the cleanliness of this hotel. The beds were the most comfortable I have slept in at any of my hotel stays. The only complaint I had from my stay is there was no coffee pot in the room. I like to have my coffee in my room when traveling and getting ready. This is the only complaint I had during my stay

I will recommend this location to lodge. Professional staff greet us with a warm welcome and recognized my as a IHG Clubmember. Perfect between West Memphis and downtown Memphis to have easy access to the interstate. I will definitely visit this location in the future. Breakfast was served fresh and delicious!

A most enjoyable stay

First time at an Avid, usually stay at Holiday Inn Express. This Avid compared very well with what we expect from IHG hotels. No complaints, very clean, comfortable and friendly, helpful and professional staff. I definitely recommend it if staying in the Memphis area!!

Hotel is fine; Staff is not fine

No frills is one thing, but no customer service without pulling teeth is another. Don't expect the staff to make you feel welcomed. Also, may want to check your bedsheets and other items you plan on touching as ours had either blood or makeup on them. Gross. Oh, TV remote doesn't give guest a guide even though there is a "GUIDE" button.

Bad property

This property is a combined property with Candlewood Suites and while this is a goid concept, the rooms are a matchbox. No room to move around, dead bugs in bathroom, and on counter tops. No room cleaning services except when asked, indoor pool is not in door, due to one side open. Pool was not clean with bugs, leaves, and trash in it. Staff gave conflicting information when asked about room cleaning.

Rude Rude Rude

Booked a stay here for 2 nights. When we arrived they said the computer had it booked for September although I showed her on my phone where it clearly showed April. They were no help at all, just told me to call IHG who never responds. 2.5 hours later they finally put us in 2 rooms (supposed to be connected with 4 beds total) on floor 1&5 with one bed each. No apology and extremely rude manager. The key cards didn't work for anyone and they had to bring each person to their room to let them in. The manager refuses to call me back and ignored all my calls. Trashy hotel, I'll never stay with this company again!

Stay here...you will be disappointed

This is a lovely hotel, inside and out. Smooth and kind check-in by the front desk agent. Room is clean, updated and the bed comfortable (this coming from Gold Elite with Marriott. Love my Marriott beds). TV has plenty of options. Leaving too early to experience breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.
