ECU Health Medical Center offers a full spectrum of medical care through a unique collaboration between ECU Health System, East Carolina University's Brody School of Medicine, The East Carolina Heart Institute, Maynard Children's Hospital and the ECU Health Cancer Center.

Since 1977, the School of Medicine has educated future doctors in the art and science of healing, researched pressing health care issues and provided patient care.

The East Carolina Heart Institute is a collaborative effort to treat and prevent heart disease in the region. It is a joint project of ECU and ECU Health Medical Center. The East Carolina Heart Institute is a unique partnership that includes ECU Health Systems, ECU Health Medical Center and East Carolina University along with cardiovascular experts in private practice, academic medicine and research.

James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital is located on the campus of ECU Health in Greenville, N.C. It strives to enrich the health and the developmental potential of children through a harmonious venture that includes the child, the family, the health care team, and the community. It offers emergency, intensive, general, rehabilitative, outpatient and chronic care to the neonatal and pediatric population

Programs include the pre-doctoral program, leading to a doctor of dental medicine degree (DMD), and post graduate programs in advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD), general practice residency, and pediatric dentistry. Our school’s hub is Ledyard E. Ross Hall on ECU’s Health Sciences Campus in Greenville. This 188,000 square-foot facility houses state-of-the-art learning halls, simulation labs, patient clinics, clinical research areas, and faculty and administrative offices.

A natural area encompassing 329 acres of land and water with 1.2 miles fronting on the Tar River. It includes over 290 acres of rich bottomland forest and four lakes covering 48 acres. Year-round fishing, hiking trails, picnicking and bird waching.

Allowing for a sustainable, regionally connected system of care, this new 418,000-square-foot cancer center and bed tower will provide a central location where patients can receive highly specialized care with expert providers and today’s most advanced technology. Features of the six-story tower include 96 inpatient rooms with nurse, patient and family zones, an imaging center, infusion and radiation treatment clinics, to go along with a pharmacy and laboratory facilities.
