Boat Quay and Clarke Quay

Singapore Botanic Gardens

Changi Village and Changi Beach Park

Changi Village is a modern village estate with a hawker centre made famous by a popular Nasi Lemak stall. The food at the Changi Village hawker centre has been featured on television programmes and is a highly recommended haunt for locals. Changi Beach Park is one of the oldest coastal beach parks in Singapore. Approximately 3.3km long, this linear park overlooks Pulau Ubin and has stretches of pristine white beaches dotted with coconut palms, BBQ pits, park benches and shelters.

Chinatown and Heritage Centre

Chinatown comprises five districts and is a designated as a conservation area. Temples, authentic chinese food, traditional trade, homegrown brands and culture can be found. The Chinatown Heritage Centre is the only place in Singapore that has recreated the original interiors of its shophouse tenants in the 1950s, offering visitors an honest, revealing glimpse into the lives of Chinatown's early residents. The Heritage Centre is open daily from 9:00am - 8:00pm (Last entry at 7:00pm).

Downtown East
