The Port of Galveston is one of the busiest cruise ports on the Gulf Coast, with terminals serving Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Disney, MSC, and Norwegian cruise lines. The cruise terminals are about 4.5 miles from our hotel, making us a convenient choice for a pre-cruise night. Park free at our hotel, get a good night of sleep, enjoy breakfast at Toast to Toast, and head to your ship refreshed and ready.

On Pelican Island, Texas A&M University at Galveston is home to the Maritime Academy and its marine science programs. The campus focuses on marine and maritime studies, with research facilities, a sea life facility, and educational programs that draw students and visitors from across the country. If you are visiting a student or exploring the marine science exhibits, the university is about a ten-minute drive from our hotel. The campus sits right on the water with harbor views.
