Allows the visitor to observe transiting vessels from a distance of only a few meters and learn first hand about the various operations of the Panama Canal, the history of its construction, its participation in the world markets, and the importance of its watershed. Entrance fee is of $15 per adult and $10 per child.
The causeway has many restaurants and shops. The Museum of Biodoversity is also located here.. It was built with the rock extracted when the Panama Canal was being built between 1904 to 1914. The road extends 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) out into the Pacific Ocean, linking the mainland with the islands of Naos, Perico and Flamenco.

The Biodiversity Museum: Panama Bridge of Life (also known as Biomuseo) is located on the Amador Causeway in Panama City, Panama. It was designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry. This is Gehry's first design for Latin America.
