One of Frank Llyod Wright's famous houses. This was originally built in Chicago and was disassembled and transported to PA. The tour season begins in April. Public tours are conducted on Sundays only. There are 3 restaurants available and reservations are strongly reccommended.

Frank Lloyd Wright is one of America's most famous architects. He built this house over a waterfall for one of his clients, the Kaufmanns. It was built between 1936 and 1939. Today, it is a National Historic Landmark.

Hidden Valley has many attractions all year round. It includes skiing, snowboarding, tubing, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, and fishing.

Located at the southern reaches of the Laurel Ridge, Ohiopyle State Park encompasses approximately 20,500 acres of rugged natural beauty and serves as the southern gateway to the Laurel Highlands. Passing through the heart of the park, the rushing waters of the Youghiogheny River Gorge are the centerpiece for Ohiopyle. The “Yough” provides some of the best whitewater boating in the eastern United States, as well as spectacular scenery.

On Tuesday morning, September 11, 2001, the U.S. came under attack when four commercial airliners were hijacked and used to strike targets on the ground. Nearly 3,000 people tragically lost their lives. Because of the actions of the 40 passengers and crew aboard one of the planes, Flight 93, the attack on the U.S. Capitol was thwarted. They have created a memorial site to remember those who lost their lives during this sad day.

At 3,213 ft above sea level, Mt. Davis is the highest point in Pennsylvania. It was named for John Nelson Davis, an early settler and American Civil war veteran.

Idlewild and Soakzone is voted the number 1 theme park for kids. One of the main theme parks in the area, it offers something for everybody. Attractions inside the park include, Olde Idlewild, Soakzone (with 14 waterslides, wavepool, and kiddie pool), Story Book Forest, Racoon Lagoon, Mister Roger's Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Jumpin Jungle, and Hootin' Holler. It is great for a family get-away, as well as family picnics. They have several events throughout the season.
