Explore the former race shops of Richard Childress Racing, a NASCAR team that started small and became a powerful tour de force still racing today. See the car that won the 1998 Daytona 500 up close and personal, along with many other notable cars driven by RCR from its inception through modern time. No visit to North Carolina wine country is complete without a trip to Curran Alexander Vineyards. Located on a family farm with nearly 150 years of history, the vineyard grows European vinifera wine grapes, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Pinot Grigio. The vineyard also hosts a series of Saturday concerts featuring local artists, so grab your dancing shoes and head out to the dance floor. There's plenty to see, taste, and do at this local treasure!
