Wonderful Service and a Treat Bar for your pups

The staff at this hotel was so friendly and accommodating. I saw Rosa cleaning and working hard all week with the other cleaning staff. Rudy did a great job checking in on us while we dined at the restaurant and we were most delighted to see Jessica's smiling face everyday. I thought she lived at the hotel because of how much she was there. She is a Fantastic employee. I didn't catch everyones name but you can tell everyone works together as a team. My favorite part was having coffee or wine in the back near the river. I especially love how they had a treat bar for all the pups that are visiting.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable bed, clean. Is on the quiet side by the San Antonio riverwalk. We did have a river view balcony but much of the tree blocked the river. I didn’t mind because I loved the privacy.

Very nice hotel conveniently located to the Riverwalk and everything San Antonio has to offer. Was comped free breakfast due to issues with the wifi not connecting to my laptop. The issue was resolved with help from the staff and tech support. Very much appreciate their kindness and help.

While I cannot recommend this hotel, the rooms are larger than many others on the Riverwalk, it is affordable, and the location is very good. Housekeeping was non existent, the management team was absent, some front desk staff were clearly unfriendly and unhelpful. However,I did receive excellent assistance from Veronica Santibanez pre-booking rooms with for my wedding guests. As an IHG member for many years, this was def my worst experience with an IHG hotel group.

The hotel room was great, there were hairs underneath the bathroom sink though which kind of disgusted me but overall, the smell of the room was nice, the design and wooden floors were a plus. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the front desk clerk was helpful, attentive, and friendly. I enjoyed staying especially with the valet I used so I would have my car waiting for me by the doors. I enjoyed the ironing board, iron, and hangers that were in the closet because I used them for my dress and my partner’s dress shirts. There isn’t enough light in the rooms though, I had to turn on all the lamps. The bathroom style was nice, I just prefer a curtain or door for the shower because I felt cold and the water was getting onto the floor so I laid a towel down.

Stayed two nights for a concert at the Tobin Center. Just a walk across the bridge great location. Bar and bar staff were very friendly. Front desk staff could be a little more friendly. Housekeeping never came our entire stay, did not have enough towels and toilet was loose. Room was near dumpster so trash man was reversing at 4am to collect and could hear workers trucks early in morning down the alleyway.
Overall was a good stay aside from the minor inconveniences but will definitely stay there again.
Not up to the usual IHG standards I am used to

The front desk staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. The valet staff was good. The bartenders were friendly and very good. Did not eat there, but they made great macchiato’s every morning (including almond milk). Overall the actual room was fine and the beds comfy, I had requested a river view and ended up with a horrific view of their shabby maintenance shed.

Pretty hotel. Room was clean and looked nice but was extremely dark. Only lit by lamps. Tv was not working. Called front desk but no one ever came.
Beautiful balcony view but had to keep the fan running to drown out loud people on the patio below at night to be able to sleep. Small store had virtually nothing. Ordered pancakes for-my daughter from the bar/restaurant that were good.

The hotel was nice but was a little disappointing in a few things. Upon arrival the valet were super friendly and accommodating. Although the service is $42.00 a night it’s standard for the river walk. The hotel was appealing upon entry but lacked a real front desk. It has 2 small counters with only one person working. The young lady seemed overwhelmed and it took longer than expected to check in. They keep a water decanter with fruit infused water for guests. They don’t always have cups and seemed irritated when asking for some. I was highly disappointed when there was no water in the room especially because we are IHG members. The location was on the river walk and there is access but it’s no where near any restaurants, bars or action of any sort. The room was clean and the bedding was comfortable. Next time I will stay closer to the action.

Many state that hotel was recently renovated however, there's much work to be done. Matress had a big dip in the middle. Hallway were dirty and room had a musty smell. Room lights were not working. I was also supposed to receive a discount for the parking since I am a state employee and didn't receive it. I asked to speak to the manager who was not available at the time and I was told that he would call back. I never received such call. I sent him an email and never received a response either. Poor service over all.

I will NEVER stay here again. The price was horrible! The room was cold and eerie feeling. The window to the room looked out to an alley with a car parked in front of the window. When the people went to get into their car it scared us as they were literally looking in our room at us as they opened their car door. The bathroom door was locked … so we had to have someone to come unlock it … not good when you 1st check in and have to use the restroom after a trip. Not to mention the bathroom was filthy. There was hair balls in the bottom of the shower. Wow … just wow! The floor in the room and bathroom and not been swept. Never again!
