Good evening Cyndi. We recently stayed at your hotel in Panama City Beach for the 3rd time in 2 months. My wife’s birthday was last week, and when I asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday, her response was to come back to the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach.
The reason is the staff that you have there. We saw Jay every morning and he even sang Happy Birthday to my wife while she was on the treadmill. He always stops and talks with us and is such a pleasure. Also Phillip, Chief Engineer, also takes time to acknowledge us and ask us how we are doing. Not just this trip but every time we are there. Next one we would like to recognize is Marie in the restaurant. She presented my wife with chocolate cake with chocolate covered strawberries. This is what makes your hotel our go to place!!!! Also Richard in the restaurant, he makes the best omelettes ever. Last but not least is Nyema who checks you in. She is always so pleasant and accommodating. The waitresses in the restaurant also were so very nice. We ate breakfast 4 mornings, and had a different waiter/ waitress each morning. I did not get all of there names, but I did get get Anna’s and Jane’s name. We are already making plans for our next stay. I know you replied back that these comments get conveyed in your weekly staff meetings. Your customer service is second to none. Keep up the great work!!!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and LOVED the resort. Everything was so nice and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor bar, entertainment and food. The resort included everything and we didn't even need to leave to get something if we didn't want too! The staff was SO nice and very friendly. We will definitely be returning soon!

Came for our honeymoon and this place is AMAZING! So clean, great ambiance and amenities. With multiple pools, restaurants, and on the gulf, you will not need to leave during your stay. Their market store has food and drinks for purchase and the prices were actually normal! Get a case of drinks and sit by the pool overlooking the gulf and forget the real world.
Just don’t lay in the bed, they are so comfortable that you will fall asleep instantly making you miss out on all the great things to do like the live music or luaus.
Staff are attentive and so friendly. The hotel is so clean and the workers make sure nothing is out of place.
I have never stayed in a hotel where all the guests are so happy that no matter where you go on in the resort you will have great conversations with others enjoying their own stay.
Truly a paradise in the most photographic and beautiful locations in the continental US!

Hello,
My family stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach from 10/9 through 10/14 and we wanted to provide you with some feedback that we hope will be useful.
First off, this is the second time we have stayed at your resort and we love this area and this space. That being said, we feel like you guys have really missed the mark on customer service and an understaffed dining and bar support. The outdoor staff worked very hard, however could not keep up with demand. You have such a great facility- an amazing beach, a unique advantage over many of your competitors because of your location, the lazy river and kids activities and distance from other opportunities for fun in PCB. It's a shame the experience was ruined by poor staffing and attitude at the front desk, really no extra effort to accomadate booking requests or aid in ensuring a comfortable, positive stay.
Second, it is worth mentioning that we came to the Holiday Inn Resort two years ago and loved our stay despite the colder weather in November. But when we were planning our wedding, we ultimately decided that we wanted to get married in PCB partly because of our prior stay at the Holiday Inn Resort and we recommended this resort to our guests. We have stayed at other beautiful and luxury hotels in PCB however we felt your hotel would meet the needs of all of our guests coming to the wedding. We reached out to the Holiday Inn Resort multiple times via phone call, emails to event staff coordinator and dining services well in advance of the wedding to secure a block of rooms and inquire about having event space, small catering option vs a heads up to the staff to alert them of our guest numbers on 10-11-25 to avoid being overwhelmed, provide organization for guests and staff and a positive evening however the unwillingness of the staff to give us basic hospitality services was very disappointing. We understood you were not willing to reserve areas or provide separate ordering for our large party, the mother of the brides booked room was not ready until the NEXT Day after arriving on Friday at 9pm and shown no apology for the inconvenience and having to move rooms twice-- Your staff's inability to follow-up on phone calls, lack of attention well in advance of our stay to block rooms or arrange events, all the way up to our stay where they had unused space that we wanted to utilize so the bride could get ready in privacy... we were stunned at the ignorance and disappointment in the staff to work with us and our guests. We were not the only ones with complaints.
Third, we were stunned at how unprepared the resort appeared to be for the holiday weekend. From rooms not being ready on time for arriving guests, days in which towels were not replaced, and some shocking errors in getting orders correct (mostly at the Trattoria), we were overall disappointed that the resort was unprepared for the occupancy level which they stated was near capacity. Being a high level IHG Member, we expected more. We did inquire to speak to upper management, having left our number at the reception, and there was no call back. If this is a reflection of the owner, management and daily attitudes of the customer service staff, we would remove the resort from consideration for future trips.
On a positive note, Izadora and the related bar tenders had a positive attitude and worked very hard to meet the busy bar demands. The pizza guys were excellent and the housekeeping did a great job except for the one day that they appeared to miss our room.

Great, easy stay where all staff were friendly. Super comfortable stay. Favorite spot, lazy river. Located right on the ocean.

We loved our stay although Kids Rule, but that's ok. All the kids for the most part were well behaved. The entertainment were the kids along with the Luau Dances. Bar Food was pretty good, not fantastic, nor consistent but good for bar food.
Everything would have been 5 Star ratings but a couple of things that needs attention is keeping kids in tubes and NOT swimming in the Lazy River and closer monitoring of kids by parents. This is the only issue we had with kids. Secondly, cleaning. The ladies work hard but our floor was black. We were not sure they mopped or swept the floor but everything else was fantastic. This might need attention. But we tip our service anyway because they do a great job otherwise! We were pleased with our stay.
Great stay! Would return.

This was our first time in the PCB area and the hotel was in a good location. The food at the pool grill was good and portions were large. The fries were excellent! A little pricy but no more than expected for resort food. Atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. We would stay here again.

We were notified in advance that the hotel was sold out. Despite this knowledge, the hotel was understaffed. There were very long waits to get food and drinks at the Bamboo Lounge. This was our first stay at this hotel and unlike many we flew in Panama City Beach. As a result, we couldn't pack the normal beach gear (chairs & umbrellas/shelter). To find that to get a hotel provided chair on the beach was a $60 charge for the day was just an absolute gouge! How do you have a resort on the beach and charge your guests for a beach chair? The rooms were clean and views from the balcony were amazing.

Second trip with my daughter at the resort. The room was spotless! The staff is super friendly from the front desk to house keeping. I wanted to extend my stay and keep my room. The front desk was able to make the change with no problem! Plenty of activities for kids. We will be back!

This was my 3rd stay at this location. 1st was in July and was FANTASTIC. The last 2 trip have been in October during Fall Break. Both of the October trips weren't so great. First, check-in was extremely slow with only 1 person working this year. She was working with another guest, but never acknowledged me while I was waiting. Once my turn, she moved at a snails pace. My other issue was service at the outside bar. Again, only 1 person working. I would wait my turn and when the bartender took my order, she also took the order of anyone else that had walked up. This happened every time I ordered - this year and last year. The restaurant service was fantastic. I like good service all year long.
