Great breakfast, pool , and overall room. Lots of nice areas to hang out at the hotel (e.g firepits).

Great hotel! Will definitely stay again if in the Grand Rapids area. Staff was very friendly and answered our questions. Room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. The pool was clean and the outside area was an amazing place for a cook out.
Great suites but not so nice staff at breakfast bar

Loved the room, loved the quietness at night, the suites are great. Staff at front desk were being trained but were very friendly. I can't say the breakfast bar person was nice. We were told breakfast on Saturday started at 7am. We came down around 7:20am to a dark area. We saw coffee was available, we walked into the breakfast bar area to see what was out. A woman came out of the back and yelled at us that it was closed and doesn't open until 7:30am. She was rude and short with us. We felt like we were being yelled at or scolded. Not great customer service. So we sat down and waited for five minutes later, she said it was open.
There are a hundred ways to talk to someone to tell them you are not open yet but her style was clearly unprofessional and unwelcoming. Our breakfast food was ok but to have such a negative experience made us not want to eat breakfast there again.
The rest of our stay was great. We loved our suite, the privacy, and the room was clean. I would give it an excellent rating but not after being yelled at because we showed up 5 minutes before she opened the breakfast bar and 25 minutes after we were told breakfast would be opened. Please put signs up, or train this person on how to nicely talk to customers.

If you want the full roommate experience, I highly recommend staybridge suites! At first I arrived and received my room key, to which I discovered someone one was already assigned to that room. I think this was my first roommate experience. I went back to the front desk to which they didn't seem surprised that someone was in that room at all, it must be a common occurrence with the roommate experience. I was given another room, to which I learned that evening that the previous roommate hadn't taken out his garbage, so I had a full can of garbage sitting under the sink, for that true roommate experience. I wonder if the cleaning staff even bothered changing the bed sheets...?
Great staff, needs minor updates

I recently stayed here while on a business trip. The breakfast was ok. I was disappointed in the social hour that is promoted as small plates and socialization. It was basically dinner: hot dogs one night, hamburgers with cheese in the meat (the way bologna and cheese looked) with fries. I didn't go down for the dinner the rest of my stay. There wasn't any socialization happening. I had multiple issues with my key card and had to have it reset multiple times each day. I've never had that kind of issue at any ither hotel I've stayed at. The staff was very quick to respond and were very kind. My room was very clean.

This was a nice get away for my family, we will be returning . Great staff great room great . It was a bit pricey but I enjoyed myself & so did my family

I enjoyed the space and stay. Location was great. I will try to use staybridge suites more. The extra cost makes up for it with the space

Very nice room. The door between the suite and the bedroom was nice for the people traveling with us. We snore. Spacious living area with a great space for eating and lounging. The bed was not very comfortable. We couldn't get the temperature right in the room. Our fault for sure. Parking lot lights will blind you. Request a room away from those.

The staff was excellent. They were able to get us all on the same floor, 3 rooms.
We were late for breakfast and they stayed open for us so we could get something to eat.

Staybridge is hard to beat in terms of long term stay accommodations. This location is particularly enjoyable thanks to the upbeat front desk staff, particularly Deanna. One of my favorite IHG properties in Grand Rapids.
