Comfortable Suite but Pet Service Could Improve

One thing that would improve our next stay is a more proactive approach to pet amenities at check-in. When we arrived, I mentioned we had a corgi with us, but the staff didn’t offer any bowls or accessories for the dog. We brought our own, so it wasn’t an issue, but a top-notch hotel experience would include staff asking about pet needs and offering essentials right away. This small touch would help make guests with pets feel even more welcome.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle. The room was comfortable and the bathroom surprisingly spacious, but our favorite part by far was the location. It was the perfect home base—easy walking distance to Pike Place, the waterfront, and tons of great restaurants and bars. We’d definitely stay here again for the convenience alone.

Stayed twice in the last few weeks. The hotel refresh wasn’t complete the first time. The refresh is nice. Clean and spacious suites. We have a dog so we didn’t hang out in the lobby. Looking around there though I struggled to understand why anyone would hang out there. It’s chock full of new seating but other than morning coffee, I didn’t see any offerings there - food or beverage. The attached restaurant doesn’t have lounge seating so maybe a server in the lobby would be worth considering?
Overall, I’d say it’s a very comfortable stay in a nice location. We wouldn’t hesitate to try it again.

It would have been an excellent experience except for the fact that the large room we were in did not have any kind of sitting area or even a chair where one could relax and read...only an uncomfortable desk chair, which was replaced by another uncomfortable desk chair. While the renovation may not be finished, from what we say it has too become overly austere and lacked warmth/
Comfortable But Service Needs Improvement

I found the $75/night parking fee to be quite excessive. It was particularly excessive when I asked for help to get my bags down from my room and the bellman never showed up, and then no one from the hotel offered to help me get my bags into my car. While a small thing -- for at least $150 for parking -- and from a Kimpton property -- I would have expected better treatment.
