Beautiful Hotel - Great Experience!

Overall we had a very great experience at the Kimpton La Peer in West Hollywood! The atmosphere and service were great but the best was just the real care and interest the staff took to making sure we were good.
The stay had a hiccup with the room not being ready but they made a huge effort to make up for it. It did not matter who was at the front desk or the valet desk the three days we were there, everyone smiled and seemed to truly be happy to be there and help.
I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in this area. Thanks for a great stay!

Small hotel in a key walking area. Updated and clean, with tons of friendly helpful staff.

The warmth of the staff was impeccable - every person I encountered made me feel so welcome and cared for. I was so impressed! The room was lovely with a view over the pool, the doors were a great opportunity for an indoor/outdoor vibe. The pool was small but perfect with great F&B options poolside.

The hotel and restaurant were excellent; the staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Ladyhawk is an experience in fine dining. The staff at the restaurant made my birthday celebration very memorable. Thank you very much !!
Staff are rude and unhelpful. Disgraceful.

I would avoid staying here if possible unless Andre is no longer working there. He is rude, unhelpful and a bully. He seems to view service in 5* hotels as optional. I am disgusted by his level of service and he unfortunately ruined what could have been a pleasant stay but for the fire alarm going off 5 times at 5am on the first night. That was not anyone's fault (though, these things should be checked) but, the mark of a top level service is how they respond to complaints - and this one, after 4 hours of sleep and severe jet lag, was disgraceful. Stay literally anywhere else in LA and I reckon you'll have a better experience.

I recently stayed at Kimpton La Peer Hotel under less-than-ideal circumstances, as I was in town due to a family member’s hospitalization at Cedar Sinai. Despite the stress and emotional weight of the trip, the staff at La Peer went above and beyond to make me feel supported and cared for.
From the moment I arrived, I was struck by how genuine and warm everyone was—from the front desk to the restaurant team. Their kindness wasn’t just professional hospitality; it felt personal and heartfelt. In a time that felt uncertain and overwhelming, they provided a comforting space where I could catch my breath.
The hotel itself is stunning, perfectly located in the heart of West Hollywood. Everything you could want is just a short walk or ride away—dining, shopping, and that quintessential LA energy. Yet the hotel feels like a serene retreat from the city buzz.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight. The quality of the food, the thoughtful menu, and the peaceful setting created a moment of calm I really needed. It wasn’t just a meal—it felt like a small act of care.
This experience reminded me that true hospitality is about more than amenities or decor—it’s about people. I’ll always be grateful to the team at Kimpton La Peer for their compassion and warmth during such a challenging time. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone, whether you’re in town for fun, business, or something unexpected. They take care of you here.

Great hotel ideally located between Rodeo Dr & Central Hollywood area.
Staff were very attentive and provided great service, room was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Highly recommended and great value !
