The cleanliness, overall ambience and hotel amenities made this a relaxing and comfortable stay. Every staff member I encountered was helpful and kind. The bed was a little stiff for my liking, but the quality of the pillows and bedding made up for it!

Over all wonderful experience, check-in was cold and not friendly, but everyone else was very helpful and amazing. The parking was a challenge but being patient was key. I would highly recommend.
Room was clean, elevator was clean and the outdoor area was quiet and just what I needed.
Parking was a huge challenge had to walk the 6 blocks butt they provided free parking at a bank and shuttle if you could catch it.
Meh. After positive stays in the past.

We have stayed at Even in the past for Mayo appointments and have been pleased with the experience. This time our 2 night stay had several frustrating moments. 1st night my husband called down asking about getting an extra blanket. If they had told him to come down to get it, he would have done so. Instead, they said they’d bring it up and never did. Then in the morning, we discovered the Keurig didn’t work. They said they’d bring would send maintenance up. That didn’t happen until well after lunch. That night around 9 pm, I was trying to go to bed since I had to be at Mayo for a procedure at 6:15am. There was a horrible screeching sound almost like a muted alarm that could be heard over my storm sounds/white noise. I got out of bed to check the hallway to make sure there wasn’t an alarm going off. It was a vacuum roaming the hall. I called the desk to ask if there was anything that could be done about the noise and he said no. “It will be done before quiet hours.” Noted. I would not stay here when you have an early morning.

I appreciate everything about this hotel except your outdoor unloading area. If we are fortunate enough to check in early and get a indoor parking space, then you don't have to traverse the outdoor smokers on the front steps and the very narrow and too steep ramp. That's my only negative in a very comfortable hotel.

My overall experiene at this hotel was amazing! The customer service was spot on, everyone was more than kind and helpful! Jessica was especially amazing ! As well as the night crew who helped check me in, everyone was amazing! I cant wait to stay again!

Very clean, great location across the street from Mayo, great breakfast buffet and convenience store, good parking lot, nice to have Mayo shuttle available, nice ambience with lots of space in lobby for family/couple/group gatherings.

Our party of 8 gathered in Rochester MN to say farewell to a family member who died last year. We found the hotel to be clean, the exercise equipment in the room to be inspiring, and the patio space was inviting for our group to gather and visit. Parking is a bit tricky and sells out quickly, and breakfast was tasty, but be sure to book that you want the free breakfast option. The front desk staff could use a bit more hospitality training.

We stayed at Even because it looked like the best option across the street from St. Mary's Hospital, and we were not disappointed. Be aware that, at least during the street construction we encountered, you still have to walk a couple of blocks outside to the hospital entrance. Our room was clean, fresh, and comfortable. The in-room exercise equipment was a nice touch and was in good condition. We were in the area for a surgery, and the one of us not in the hospital appreciated the small restaurant's menu of fresh and tasty food, served pleasantly by the one hardworking host running the facility--a nice rest at the end of a long day. And although parking on site is limited, staff members are ever ready to take guests to offsite parking.
We keep coming back …

We have been staying at the Even - Rochester, MN since 2023 due to appointments at Mayo. We have selected this motel because of the cleanliness of the facilities, the accommodating staff, the parking, and location with the shuttle service! One bonus provided in the past year has been the delicious breakfast provided free of charge, and having Starbucks next door!

Very clean, up-to-date hotel in a great location within Rochester. Food is good, bar area and spacious hotel lobby is very nice and is a great space to spend a few hours with friends or on your laptop working.
Rooms were well-appointed and spotless, kudos to the cleaning staff!!!
Front desk staff, maybe needs a little more training on friendliness and warm greetings, and problem resolution skills.
Bar/restaurant staff were awesome, friendly, and helpful.
Starbucks in the hotel lobby is awesome and they are staffed with very friendly people.
PARKING!!! It's a serious issue here and needs to be figured out to hit 5-star ratings. They sell overnight indoor parking for $20 per night, but cannot guarantee you a spot, because of the faulty entry system, which allows "non-payors" to pull in behind the guests who do pay. The front desk staff is clearly agitated with the situation, is resistant to solve or even discuss it. BEWARE - If you dont get to park in the garage, you either risk parking on the street and must move your car within certain hours to ensure not receiving a parking ticket, or park five blocks away in an office building parking lot, and agree to be shuttled back and forth by calling their shuttle number to coordinate. Sound simple, but not really depending on time of the day.
