Clean hotel, friendly staff, grab & go breakfast, has a pool and workout room. Highly recommend.

Comfortable bed, but breakfast was a disappointmen

The bed was comfortable enough. The TV was NOT capable of casting even though it said it was. Breakfast was very skimpy because they were running out of food. There were no creamers for coffee, no hot chocolate mix, and no decaf tea. The drink counter was dirty.

The manager helped with my twin boys during check in. That was tremendous after 2.5hrs of travel

The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable with. Customer service seems to be La Kong in some employees. The restaurant and bar was not available during my stay. The desk clerk and the attendant in the restaurant gave conflicting statements about the hours of operation. Initially we were told they open at 5, then 6, then 7. And although there were employees in the restaurant, they seemed to care less about the small group of people at the entrance waiting to be served. At one point, a few of them gathered at the front desk with the clerk, having a good chat and laugh session while people waited at the restaurant entrance. The other guests, including myself just walked away in search of other means for dinner. The hotel itself has a very new and bright presentation, some of the employees however, have some things to work on. This was our experience, but hopefully changes take place to rectify the problem.

Absolutely the worst experience ever. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, the bathroom was DISGUSTING! There was hair everywhere that it would have been impossible to have not seen had you been going into it with the sole purpose to clean it. The TV would not work all the channels were scrambled and the next morning there were children running up and down the halls knocking on all the doors, after this went on for over an hour and I kept going to the door asking them to stop I called the front desk and complained and after it still didn’t stop I called again and was told “we went up there but didn’t see any kids”… they haven’t cameras in the hallways LOOK AT THE CAMERAS, and you will see them!! .. then the same kids who, lucky for me were staying in the room right next to mine started banging a ball on the wall continuously until I finally left an hour before checkout! I talked to the manger Renee at the front desk and told her about my experience and tried to show her pictures of the hair and was told she was trying to “clean the place up” … she told me I would receive 10,000 points and took on some of my bill but I’ve yet to receive the points I was promised. Horrible stay and experience and I will not be back, not to this hotel and possibly not with any IHG brand hotel ever again

The hotel was fine but I didn’t realize it was sort of low budget when I booked it. Actually booked room for wife and I and room for son and his wife and 2 little girls. 5 days each. Front desk staff was very nice. Would have liked a dresser to put clothes in. I’m 81 y.o. And very stable but should have had a grab bar in the shower. Nice hotel though. Next time I’ll probably spend a little more and go Holliday Inn Express.

I would give this hotel an A+. Everything was spotless and well maintained. Hotel and grounds looked very new. Staff said it's a couple years old, but you can't tell at all, looked newly built. All staff members we encountered were fabulous. Front desk attendant, Oakland, was very friendly and helpful. Marreal and her staff helped this breakfast run very smoothly. She was extremely friendly even while working very hard. Breakfast was served in their on-site restaurant, so it felt very elevated from the normal hotel breakfast. Food offered on this day: eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, toast and danish. Most free breakfast buffets at hotels are a crowded mess, not at Avid! Everything was perfectly clean and fully stocked.We would definitely stay at this Avid again, but will also look into to other Avid locations based on our great experience with this staff.

I was not exactly happy this stay. I called 2 weeks in advance to make the reservation and asked 3x for a handicapped room and close to the elevator. The person on the phone who did the reservation assured me that this was a handicapped room. When we got to the room nothing about it was handicapped accept there was a door bell for the hearing impaired. When I asked the clerk at the desk how I was not provided a handicap room when I asked 3x for one and was assured it was ... all she could do is apologize and tell me that is not what I requested when I did the reservation.. as I stand there with a knee brace and cane she said I did not request one.. in the morning when I spoke with one of the managers and explained to her the story all she could do was apologize... I booked directly with them did not use priceline or expedia.. and they did not offer me a discount or anything . even when I told them that the bathroom door didn't even close .. very disappointed with this stay.

The staff of this hotel was friendly and knowledgable. Oakland was delightful at check-in. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. Burger Theory had a great bar and food options. The air conditioning unit was so loud I was not able to sleep. The staff did make an attempt to improve my situation, which I did appreciate. Sunny was understanding and kind. Unfortunately, the overall experience made it very hard to recommend this hotel. The price is definitely right, but be aware before you book a room. Also, the HDMI port on the TV did not work, nor did the "stream from your device" option that was advertised on the IHG tv screen and settings. If this is the only way you watch TV, this might not be the hotel for you.

I stayed at this on business in Nashville and it was a 16 min drive to where I needed to go most days, traffic is bad but it’s bad everywhere, everything about the room and bathroom was spotless and the excellent tv. The bed was so comfortable. The only complaint I have is noise but that’s not something that can be controlled when people are loud.

Two hotels in one

The two hotels in one building is weird, with different rules, that the online reservation doesn’t understand, like dogs allowed on one side not on the other and breakfast, it’s a little awkward.

Mary Cross is very accommodating and has an eye for detail!

Mary Cross handle all my complicated questions and so easy to coordinate with and made me feel at ease knowing she had everything under control. I can not say enough good things about her!
