First trip to Aruba

We choose to stay at the Holiday inn for the very reasonable price and our expectations were far exceeded the property could use a bit of updating but all in all the staff were very accommodating and being located so close to so many restaurants and bars and the beach and water was amazing.

The only reason why I gave this two stars was because the food was good. Front desk, staff, extremely rude, specifically Stephanie and the Manager’s on staff. Very argumentative. They ended up putting me in a room 7330 where it is right next to a nightclub which played music until 2 AM knowing I have two children with me. Then asked me to move a 10 o’clock at night on the second day Because by the next day that Rome will be gone so I ended up moving 10:00 PM with two children and packing up my bags again. They end up putting me in a wing where it is facing the main strip where there is loud music, belligerent, drunk people, screaming, and yelling all night. When I went downstairs to go speak to the front desk, Stephanie, she was extremely rude and very argumentative and told me to have a good night and walked away from me in front of the manager. When I told the manager Cliff, did he hear what his employee just Told me and how dismissive and rude and disrespectful she was he simply said I’ll take care of it and did not apologize for the disrespect at all continue to the manager being argumentative with me back-and-forth about how they cannot move me again to the point where I demanded another room or I was going to check out. The next day I had to move for the third time to another room at 4 PM, which was highly inconvenient. This day was the worst day I have ever had and it put a damper into my vacation. The food was awesome. The service and staff members are extremely rude. I did not expect this type of treatment from a Holiday Inn resort or any IHG corporations. I have stayed at the uber do star in the past with no issues. However, this resort was one of the worst resorts I have ever stayed at and will not be going back. Also, the cleanliness of the rooms was very dirty. The elevator had a vomit stains for the whole entire time that I stayed even though it was brought up to the cleaning crew. No one did anything about it so every time we took the elevator, it’s smell like pure vomit. I hope you see this review and you put your employees through further training and they learn how to speak with customers

Our recent stay was wonderful. The staff went over and above in all instances, from the front desk to housekeeping to towel rentals and lobby assistance as well as concierge. It was conveniently located close to shop and restaurants. The beach was fantastic and the on-site restaurants were reasonable and boosted some breathtaking sunsets. Will be back.

This was my second time staying at this property. The staff is wonderful. they are very friendly and make every effort to ensure your stay is the best it can be. The location puts the beach a few steps away and within walking distance of numerous shops and restaurants.

Great location and bed. Friendliness and help can be a little more. Slow response for help and items needed. Bathroom can use some work. Shower and layout didn’t work that great. Toilet felt like it would fall through floor

Our stay this trip was relaxing and fun. We celebrated my mother’s 80th birthday and everyone was so welcoming. Good food, friendly staff and clean rooms. I would recommend holiday inn to friends and family.
