Great place, just had an incident with the food at the restaurant on the beach. Got food poisoning from the Pork Belly appetizer.
Other than that, all good.

The staff and management were rude. Ocean view means looking at trees (see picture). I contacted the front desk and they told me "to lean over my balcony and look to your left, do you see the ocean?" Someone with access to my room hid my husband's passport in retaliation - they have yet to investigate. Mold in the shower, carpet from the 1970's, couch that had more germs on it than a petri dish. The area around the pool had 100's of broken bricks, almost broke my ankle during the wedding.

This hotel needs to be completely updated. Gym needs machines that work. Service needs to be better. Some very lazy people work there.

Can't say enough about this place. Wonder service with a friendly atmosphere. Special thanks to Mary at the front desk, my go to person that always helps me out. Also Smitty on the beach and palapa service, what a guy! And I can't forget Dena from housekeeping who did a fantastic job. See you again in 2026.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Aruba seven times. I have never "rented" an umbrella so I had no idea that there was a big price difference between renting them online vs at the towel hut. I found out when I checked out that the cost to do it in the towel hut was $40 a day vs booking an umbrella online for $18. A $22 dollar difference is ridiculous. If I had known there was such a price difference I would have never paid $40. I would have paid $30 for a palapa! When I asked to speak to the manager about the charges her response was to just smile at me and say "sorry, nothing we can do about that". My wife and I adore the hotel and the staff there. It was a terrible way to end our trip. I really think that the price difference should be clearly highlighted when reserving one in person.
I only recommended the property because the location is great and the majority of the staff are wonderful and really go out of their way to make all guests feel welcome. I would not want to discourage based on an unhelpful manager.

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn in Aruba! The location is perfect—right on the beach and close to everything. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout. The hotel is spotless and well-maintained. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Terrific resort with a Jet Blue Vacation All inclusive package. Enjoyed everything about this resort. People were terrific, Don at the front desk truly cared and said he wanted us to enjoy our stay. Breakfast was excellent with endless choices. We favored Sea Breeze restaurant for dinner at the bar. Bartender Andres was so welcoming and went out of his way to sit us at the bar. His attention really made these two senior ladies feel like we made a friend! Thank you Andres! Food was delicious!

The rooms in the sea breeze area of the resort are dated, the single elevator in the main entrance was very very slow. The hallway was very noisy with guests.

Your hotel was nice,very convenient location.Loved all the food,top quality.The staff was very accommodating,helpful.I felt very safe.The grounds were absolutely beautiful,well maintained.More entertainment would have been nice,so had to leave the hotel for that.And having to pay for anything being we were all inclusive,bottled beer,some foods,gelato.

Your hotel is very good but if your staff wasn’t as fantastic as they are it would hurt your place. People like Cecile, Edwardo , Jose, Jacqui, Victor, Calvin, Lucas, Brian, Lucilla, Louise, Rosa amongst many others make your place I want to continue coming back to! Losing any of the people mentioned would hurt your business. The people listed above are outstanding employees who lift your business to another level!
Your AC in the rooms is terrible. Definitely needs an upgrading. Food is very good! I wish Oceanside bar was open later! Being outside on the water is what vacation is about. I also don’t love that the bar at Oceanside closes early on days you host a wedding. Maybe a tradeoff for that is staying open later. Also more TV’s are needdd at Oceanside bar. The lobby bar needs more seats at the bar & more TV’s. The Seabreeze which is a good restaurant needs more fans for the air to get pushed around. It does get a bit hot. All 3 places are excellent and have excellent staff! Again your staff is great!
Agave is excellent but keep me at your bar. Put a few TV’s in so I can see a sports game. Great margaritas at this bar & the menu change is very good!! Staff in the restaurant is awesome! Diana runs this place great! She also does a great job at the Sea Breeze.
Overall your place is very good and I come back bc the staff is just great at their jobs! They make everyone feel welcome & like they have friends at your resort.

We love holiday inn, the staff, the restaurants, the pool, the beach. From speaking to the wonderful reservation manager Marianna with some questions, to excellent server Jimmy A. at Sea Breeze Restaurant, to courteous Miguel at palapas rental, and happy smiling Smitty at the pool and beach. Best staff ever!

I saved up my points to go to Aruba for a special trip.
I used over 200,000 points and I was deeply disappointment in my room cleanliness, location and noise.
I had to change two times to find a suitable room.
I would not recommend this hotel. It's old, noisey and not updated for the price they charge.
Sad that I wasted 200,000 hard earned points for this hotel.
