Brought a group of 12 to this hotel and was received with open arms.
The check in was seamless and accommodations were perfect. Rooms were very clean and the view from the room patio was breathtaking, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
The buffet breakfast was fantastic. Omelettes to order, pastries, juice, coffee, all presented very well and soooo good!
The location is in the center of the tourist area of Mazatlan with lots of entertainment venues all around the hotel.
We will stay here every time we come to Mexico.

Ideal Location, Amazing Views, Friendly Staff

Just returned from a week stay and couldn't be happier with our accommodations at the Holiday Inn Resort in Mazatlan. The hotel is clean, quiet and in the perfect location to walk the beach, Malecon and catch a ride to Centro. Lots of great shops and restaurants near the property. The bed was extremely comfortable and the unobstructed ocean views were incredible. It was nice to see families enjoying the heated pool, the beach had lounge chairs and umbrellas and the included breakfast provided lots of options. We would definitely recommend this hotel to future guests.

We stayed here for a week and had a blast!! Had a minor issue with the first room we got but the staff was extremely helpful with resolving the issue promptly!! The wait staff in the restaurant were all so polite and attentive and the food was amazing! Especially the weekend buffet!!
The Hotel is in a GREAT location super close to great restaurants and live entertainment!

Restaurante limpio y atentos
Nos dejaron estar en piscina después del check out ya que nuestro vuelo era por la noche.
Nos dejaron calentar comidita local
Todo perfecto. Pero mas Concierge!!!! Gracias por adornar nuestra habitación Krysthel !! Excelente tu servicio.

We had a short 2 day stay. Overall, our stay was terrific. Staff at check in, restaurant and anything in between were absolutely top notch. We look forward to our next stay in April.

Me cobraron de más, y me dijeron que me lo iban a reembolsar esta semana y aún no queda el reembolso.

No me quisieron prestar un cable HMDI y anteriormente si me lo prestaron, ni siquiera hicieron el intento.

Me cobraron dos tarjetas de llave de acceso a la habitación porque las dejé en la habitación y me decían que me regresara por ellas, tenia que irme porque perdería el vuelo, no hicieron nada para ayudarme, cuando me hospedo aquí siempre una semana cada mes, desde hace años.

This Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations . Hotel room was spotless, comfortable and had a great view of the ocean. Housekeeping staff were excellent and all employees were very polite. Pool and sitting area outside was great

Everything was positive during my stay. Did not use the inhouse amenities (pool, beach, restaurant, room service nor wifi)

The staff was very polite, warm and agreeable.

Rooms need to be upgraded. Just clean and simple.

Would Stay Again

A friend and I stayed for 10 days in a Double Queen Studio. The living was very large, the beds comfy, balcony with great views. Well located for restaurants, bars, activities and shopping.

The staff were personable and efficient.

I would recommend staying on an upper level floor for better views. The rooftop terrace was lovely for watching the sunsets (beverages and food available).

The price was reasonable.

The only things we would have liked is a microwave, in addition to the bar fridge, and more hangers in the closet. This did not detract from our stay .... nice to have versus need to have.

Staff Party noise unacceptable!

I flew from London which is a very long flight and needed to settle in and get a good nights sleep which I was unable! On the night of the 16th, I was awoken by a very loud party - the whole floor was vibrating! I called to reception to make them aware and then informed me that it was their staff party and nothing could be done!

I finally went down and asked them to turn down the music or at least the bass and they turned it up defiantly right in front of me. The staff were very young and clearly enjoying the festivities. I asked for the duty manager who appeared to be drinking who just didn't care.

They delivered me earplugs which is an unacceptable solution - why should a staff party impact a customer's stay? I asked to discuss this further but no one would discuss with me.

To make matters worse they repeated another party on the 18th of December (although not near as loud).

You have a real problem with the staff at this location. I am an elite member and have never encountered this at any other location!

I fully expected to be comped for two nights stay or I will relay this on social medial review sites!
