Premium property, but I won’t stay again.

I was upgraded to a premium rooms in the Busakorn wing. The room was fantastic and very premium with lots of mood lighting and premium modern design. The pool and grounds were great and the hotel is very clean.

Unfortunately the bed was extremely uncomfortable and very hard. I could not sleep my entire trip. I am now staying at the Holiday Inn Express Patong, and the bed is so much better. This doesn’t make sense to me because the holiday inn resort is more expensive and more premium.

Unfortunately, I will not stay here again unless they upgrade the beds because because being able to sleep well is the number one most important criteria of a good hotel stay

Best hotel for a luxury stay in Patong. Was very positively surprised by the quality of services provided by the hotel staff. The rooms were clean and very spacious. The hotel is quiet, and very family and kids friendly. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location is great, it's very quiet and only few steps from Patong beach. Very relaxing atmosphere in the hotel especially near the main pool. The breakfast was tasty with a wide variety of delicious dishes and fresh fruits. Would definetly recommend it for any stay in Phuket and would surely come back for my next trip to Thailand!

I chose to stay in this hotel for only one night to check if it worth booking in for longer stays in the future. After my experience I will surely Not book there anymore. I was given a room that smelled so bad, just next to some generators, on a ground floor, hearing everything from the street! It was really bad. All of this although at that time I was a diamond member of IHG.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Resort was remarkable! The kids' play area was fantastic, and the caretakers there took great care of our children, making them very happy. Being near the beach, the hotel offers spacious and comfortable rooms. The room service was excellent, and everything was up to the mark. Truly a commendable hotel. Can't wait to return

It’s obvious this property has been around for some time, despite that it’s clearly well maintained. Like most places in Thailand I experienced exceptional customer service and was generously recognized for my Platinum elite status.

This location is perfectly located being a block off the best and a few mins walk to Bangla Street. My only complaint with the property is the pool closes early ( I think 7pm).

Excellent stay, Villa suite was large, well appointed and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable with soft and firm pillows in place, Hotel restaurant offers great menu selections at reasonable prices, Breakfast buffet offered many properly prepared selections. Friendly staff and excellent housekeeping. Adult pool with bar at villa suites was exceptional. Hope to return again soon.

We hated the hotel, and couldn’t wait to check out. We had booked 5 nights. Would have changed hotel first day if it hadn’t been for Holiday Inn Resort not refunding the money. So we were basically stuck.
Check-in took 3 hours. The first room we got were smelling mold and humidity. Even after 30 min the smell was still there. We changed room but other 3 rooms were smelling as well. The staff said it was due to AC not being turned on. If you know that someone is checking in maybe you should turn the AC on? We even tried seeing if that helped, but it was just horrible. So after waiting another hour we finally got room that was not smelling.

Poor cleaning. Dust everywhere. They don’t wash/wipe the floor. They only Hoover it. So stains are stuck. There is mold in the bathroom. The shower keeps on going from cold to hot and hot to cold. So you easily gets burned if you are not being careful.
WiFi is poor. Keeps on disconnecting though you are in the middle of the city. Pools are just ok. The pictures on hotels.com or any other site is of a pool that only privileged people can use (those who pay extra). They get better treatment. Busikarn wing.

The staff (front office, even the security guards) are busy chatting or playing games on their mobiles. So they don’t even lift an eye to see you. Forget about a smile or a polite hello.

If you want to smell free weed, do come to this hotell. It’s written that weed is not allowed. But still whole 6th floor of our building was smelling weed. We complaint to front office, but nothing happened. It was smelling for 3 days.

So ya, maybe we have been unlucky but this was just the worse to start off the holidays with. Never ever again that we book holiday inn.
