Newer Hotel - But Still Not Great

This hotel advertises great value and brand new amenities for its guests, but still fell short on delivery. The rooms have very thin walls and loud A/C units, causing light sleepers to suffer. The cleanliness of the room was less than ideal and the overhead bathroom light flickered nonstop.

Very nice place for a weekend trip

We came out to the area to go see some stuff like pike’s Peak, Garden of the Gods, and other area things for the holiday weekend.

Hotel was clean. Staff was helpful.
Breakfast was basic but good.

Room was clean, AC worked well, and bed felt comfortable for the 2 nights we stayed.

Indoor Pool area was small but clean and water felt a bit cool but great for July.

Close to I25, and only 45 minutes roughly drive to Garden of the Gods or similar to Pike’s Peak.

Had res not a member of your club

I am spreading to word about our service and your hotel chain!! After driving over 600 MI that day all we wanted was shower, but couldn't cause you put a wheel chair person and a person on walker in a room with a tub and no shower chair. And don't forget only one bath towel. Made res for wheelchair accessible room. But I guess cause we weren't members of your club you didn't give us one!! I tried to make res calling your 800 number, was told cause not member would have to call hotel direct. Called hotel direct was told no member number I would have to use a booking service. So this is what I did, request wheel chair handicap room with 2 beds. You all called two hour before check in and ask if we could make due with one bed. It sounded like if we didn't there would be no room for us. I had made my res over a week prior!! I travel over five months a year and never was treated so bad by a hotel!!! Even motel Six will provide a coffee pot and ice bucket. When I asked about coffee I was told it served at breakfast. My sister had to go to a gas station and buy me a coffee and get a plastic bag we could use for ice!!!

Good stay!!

The stay was good.. I have stayed at Avids before and they have always been good. I don't think the room value was there. The room was way to elementary except for the TV. The TV was a real nice size, too bad couldn't get local news on the channel list. No closets.. when 2 are sharing the room, the room wasn't big enough for luggage for 2 people. The bed was not comfortable and the room temperature was hard to control. It was either too cold or not cold enough

We were in Pueblo for a family event. I researched many hotels in the area. This one had the best rating and the best price. There were a total of 12 of us that stayed in this hotel and it did not disappoint. They have great service and it was very clean.

Never stayed at an Avid hotel before so I did not know exactly what to expect. But I liked the contemporary environment in the lobby, which was inviting and urging one to hang out there for a while. Being able to get coffee during the evening, let alone early morning is on top of my wishes at any hotel I stay at. I was delighted to find, that freshly made coffee was available 24/7 - and the quality of coffee was very good. My room seemed a bit "spartan" at first glance, yet it had everything I needed, including a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had everything I wanted, including a great tasting oatmeal and orange juice. All staff members I got in contact with were very friendly and service minded. Bottom line: I will return to this hotel in the future.

Nice new hotel. Bad house keeping.

The shower floor had not been cleaned. After 12 hours of driving, then unpacking, we had to repack I called the front desk.They said they would move us to another room… We went down to get the key to the new room so we could check that room before we moved at 11:00pm. As we left the room we tried to get back into our room for something, the keys wouldn’t work anymore. The staff had to let us back into our room to move our stuff to the new room.
Then the new room had a band-aide stuck to the wall. Staff came up with gloves and removed it.

Sound problem between rooms

We were on the third floor and the fourth floor had a college track team who were very inconsiderate. The hotel staff or not very hopeful at first, but eventually after we ask them to come here the sound in our room we got some action, but that was after calling 5 to 6 times we were offered IHG points, but I feel that was not an equal compensation for the stress i\and sleep distributions. The beds were not comfortable as well. Soap, hair conditionair, and shampoo containers were not full upon check-in.

Our stay at this hotel was just great. The beds were so comfortable, and the room was great. I liked the 24-hour access to good coffee, and I liked the centrally located ice machine. I do plan on staying here again.

Needs basic supplies like soap refilled in shower and breakfast in the morning. Dirty elevator and carpets. No hairdryer. Management was responsive, but it’s still disgusting to find public hair in your bathroom and hair on room floor
