This is our third time staying at Avid on our way to SC or Florida. It’s always a pleasant stay. Rooms are comfortable, clean. Bed is comfortable. No noise. The bathroom is big and the shower is my favorite thing. Good water pressure. One of the things we like about this hotel is that is tucked away from traffic noise.

IHG has been my go to brand for the last six + years on the road for work. Five of those years full time (300+ nights) and this was actually my first time in an Avid brand hotel.

I was extremely impressed! First impressions the outside was well kept and looked nice and new. Seating outside. Lots of restaurants in walking distance which is always a bonus. Lobby was really nice, huge snack shop area. Desk agent was polite and got me my keys quickly.

Room was clean. Well set up. Bed was comfortable, good pillows. The shower….🤤 the shower head had amazing water pressure and was nice and hot.

Check out went really well. Very polite folks at the desk. Fast to get a receipt. Had breakfast which was surprisingly a lot of options. More than regular hotels. Even had almond milk. They had a very polite woman keeping tabs on the food stock and making sure everything was clean.


Very impressed all the way around. Next time I have to stay in town I’ll definitely come back. Keep up the good work!

Excellent hotel, right off the exit 2 minutes to get there, the check in was smooth and fast, the clerk did not even ask me for my license, the king bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and fresh, the breakfast and coffee or delicious and I would strongly recommend a hotel for a night or two

Great place to stay! Husband and I have stayed here twice and each time has been fabulous! Comfortable room friendly staff and breakfast is tasty too! No complaints!

Wonderful from beginning to end . We walked into a very pleasant person and her way of interacting with us was great . Great staff , clean rooms , clean bathroom and hallways were great .

We had an excellent stay at the hotel. Everything was perfect. It was in a great location. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and very friendly. We had to leave a little bit earlier than we anticipated but the checkout process was very speedy.

Hotel was fine. Very cookie cutter, mcmodern hotel. Flashy but not actually fancy. Which is fine for price. Our A/C unit loudly turned on and off every 3 mins for the entire night, which was annoying. Location was a little odd, Bach behind a Hooters. Again nothing awful and ok for price. Staff was extremely friendly, best part of the stay. Breakfast was ok. But we wouldn’t stay here again.

We stayed overnight on our way to vacation. Excellent location on and off the highway, was far enough away that it wasn't noisy. Avid hotels tend to be more trendy with nice bright colors. We enjoyed our stay there. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic for a complimentary breakfast. Loads of selections hot and cold with yougarts, oatmeal bar with toppings. The breakfast potatoes were excellent! Hotel was very clean with a nice size gym. Our room was comfortable and clean as well. We made it a stop on the way to the beach to visit Savannah and Tybee beach, both are nearby and worth visiting. Also Black Rifle Coffee Company/ 9 line apparel have a large location 3 minutes away if you like either of those companies it's worth stopping in for a fresh brew! I'd definitely stay here again.

This was our first stay in an avid property, and everything was great. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the breakfast buffet had our favorite hot-food items. The freshground coffee was a plus. An excellent guest experience.

My check-in was one of the best Ive had in a while, I had received some very sad news just before checking into the hotel. Patrice noticed my tears and offered concern, she then suggested I take a minute and offered me going into the bathroom. She was patient and once I returned she offered me her condolences for my loss. Patrice didn’t have to be kind, but she was and she was sincere and I appreciate her kindness.
