Long road trip with late check in

Driving while not feeling well and decided to spend the night here. Greeted as soon as I walked I in the door. Rates were good, hotel clean, and the bed comfortable. If I were to visit again I would request a room with no neighbors if possible as the walls are “thin”.

What’s that smell/noise?

Everyday outside smelled like methane. Inside for a new build had another lingering smell. Then it sounded like a helicopter was on the roof 24/7.

My wife and I stopped for a quick overnight trip and found this location to fit our needs perfectly. We checked in at 10:00 pm and found the front desk lady to be superb. Our room was clean, the temperature was great, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very adequate for showering and getting ready the next morning. We found the breakfast bar to be very clean and the food was great. The hotel is not an upscale hotel but for getting a good night's rest, we found this location to be excellent. We will stay here when we are traveling through the Savannah area again.

This was our 4th time staying at the Avid and we were disappointed. The gentleman who checked us in was less than friendly. He did not greet us when we walked in or even looked up at us during the check in process. We also found the room less clean than the last few times. And the breakfast was horrible! Everything was processed and unappealing. The banana's were not fresh and there was a dead fly in the vessel holding the bananas. It was awful!!

The hotel is near 95 but free from road noise. It has a fresh exterior and interior. The breakfast was standard but good and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The building, rooms and staff were great. It is a fairly new facility and it has a great location, right off the highway. Restaurants right across the street and shopping 10 minutes away. I will be back in three weeks. Only place I will stay outside of Savannah

One of the best hotels in Savannah area.
Front desk staff…AWESOME!
Cleanliness..,spotless!
Location…at exit 94 where I95 and Abercorn meet.
Beds…Get ready to over sleep!
The one negative to me is the TVs…they are streaming capable for chromcast but sometimes the input for the chromcast is not working or something…praying they solve this with an easier option soon for Apple Devices to airplay too.

My stay at Avid Savannah was excellent! The location was great, right off the i95 and off a main road where restaurants and gas stations are close. When I entered the property I was greeted by Fredrick who was very welcoming and accommodating. It was just before midnight and he still gave a smile and exchanged small talk. When I asked for a room on a specific floor he made it happen. As I entered the room I could tell it was clean. I did my normal inspection and I was pleasantly surprise. The a/c was very good the only complaint would be a slight odor which seems to have been coming from the a/c maybe a filter just needs to be changed. The sheets were clean and bed was comfortable. The next morning I went to ask for more sheets and was again greeted very nicely and given more towels with a smile. I think it was the owner at the front. The staff cleaning the rooms and in the hallways were very polite and friendly. The hotel itself is very clean and modern with little noise from other guests. The colder is 24 hrs which was definitely a plus, and it’s not that cheep coffee that been there all day. They use modern machines that grind the beans and then brew the coffee. The creamers were great too and there is also an option for tea or hot chocolate. The one thing I would recommend is putting a microwave in the room. The only microwave is shared and it’s in the lobby. Other than that my experience was great and I would definitely recommend this for anyone even families. I didn’t get to try the breakfast but during breakfast time quite a few guesses were eating.

I love this hotel, and this was a great experience for a business and leisure trip. We met new friends, great staff that was tentative and open to our needs. The staff created an atmosphere for connection and rest!!!
