Historical building in London

역사

Kimpton Fitzroy London is an architectural marvel rich with history and culture. Designed by Charles Fitzroy Doll in 1898, who also designed the dining room on the Titanic, the hotel epitomises Victorian architecture. Fitzroy Doll’s level of grandeur and detail in his architectural designs make it easy to see where the phrase ‘All Dolled Up’ originated from.

Opening in 1900 under the name Hotel Russell, its iconic design and idyllic location (walking distance from key landmarks, galleries, and shopping) allowed it to make its mark among the luxury hotels of London. The hotel represented the height of modernity, decorated with no expense spared, including being the first hotel in London to have en suite bathrooms.
