The Pro Football Hall of Fame is the hall of fame for the professional American Football leagues with an emphasis on the National Football League. It was first built in 1963 and has expanded multiple times since then. On the grounds there is a small eatery, gift shop, and museum. Annually the Pro Football Hall of Fame holds the Inductee Ceremony which draws hundreds of thousands into the Canton area.

The National First Ladies' Museum pays tribute to the work and dedication of First Ladies and women in United States' history. Guests can visit the former home of Ida Saxton McKinley, wife of President William McKinley, as it has been restored to its former beauty. The museum also boasts the first and only online bibliography of America's First Ladies.

The McKinley Museum pays tribute to the United States' 25th President. Visitors to the museum are in for a wonderful experience that includes an interactive, hand-on science center, a presidential museum dedicated to our 25th president, a historical library, planetarium and more. The museum serves as an education center of history and science and offers interpretive exhibitions and educational programs for the local community and an expanding global audience.

The Akron Zoo is home to over 700 animals representing over 90 different species and it has over 1 million visitors annually. The animal exhibits are divided into six different themed areas containing animals from different regions of the world. The zoo is the most visited attraction in Summit County and rated in the top 10% of all zoos and aquariums in the United States. The Akron Zoo is involved in several conservation projects that focus in restoration, preservation and reintroduction.

The museum currently exhibits forty rare and unusual classic and special interest automobiles. The gorgeous vehicles are complemented by the thousands of pieces of historical memorabilia displayed throughout the museum. The Canton Classic Car Museum has something for everyone: automobilia, vintage toys, steam engines, movie posters, historic photography, oriental rugs, Meyer's Lake Park and Canton historical displays.

The Military Aviation Preservation Society is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to educating people about the history of military aviation. This is where history takes flight!
