Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rude Staff I have stayed at Texarkana Texas Candlewood Suites for 2 to 3 days every week in the last two months to take a relative to a local hospital for Dr. appointments due to lung cancer. I have stayed at other Candlewood Suites in Texas and Louisiana and the staff has always been friendly and helpful and all the properties have been clean. BUT on my second to last stay at the Texarkana Texas property while checking out I was treated very poorly and Clerk name Sky ( Don't think its her real name) was extremely rude and smart mouth. I did complain and write a fairly positive review even after being treated so rudely. Well I had to go back the next week to stay over night for an early surgery and at check at was greeted again by Sky and she again was very rude and sarcastic during check out, She never smiles and I greeted her with a smile and cheerful attitude to show I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt on her prior behavior, and she returned all her comments in a sarcastic and rude manner. I have always enjoyed my stays at Candlewood and try to book with them before I do any of the other hotels but really not sure at this point if I would return to this property again or not. Had my first ever problem at check out with a young lady named Sky " probably not her real name", was rude and smart mouth. After check out I notified manager and was given several apologies. I will stay there again, only one bad employee so far. All the other staff working there has never been anything but nice and helpful. Overall this is a very nice clean place to stay. It looked nice, but there were toe nail clippings on the carpet and some sort of white powder on the floor of the bathroom that I assumed was dried soap. Or possibly something to clean the tile. It had a rough, gritty feel on my feet. Other than that, it was very clean and comfortable. October 30, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by won't be back The patio was dirty...spit on floor....garbage was full....butts all over....room had no Kleenex or extra paper towels etc...staff did alot of hanging around front desk when they could have been working...e.g. cleaning....floor in room was dirty!!!!candlewood cupboard poorly stocked.....no comparison to Nogales candlewood...also this chain has a pet policy but is not consistent....Will not stay here again.....
