Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, comfortable rooms but laundry equipment availability an issue Positives - Room amenities and courteous staff. Negatives - All three (3) washers in good working order. Of the four (4) dryers, one (1) out of service and in need of repair, two (2) are available for use by residents but do not dry clothes satisfactorily and one is available for use by residents and does dry clothes satisfactorily. The lack of working and/or fully functional dryers creates a real log jam for residents to get laundry done in a timely manner and creates frustration with the property in general. February 4, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible raw sewage smell in halls Afternoon clerk check in was wonderful, friendly and professional..Got to the room and smelled a sewage smell in the hall.Suite cabinets doors were dirty on outside up at eye level, but I am tall. Night clerk was no where to be seen ,rang bell on desk three times...finally left a note using his pen that I took off the inside of the check in desk. Concern that I could see and have access to others room information. Smell in hall was even worse next morning. Morning check out clerk was very nice. Told him about no night clerk and smell. Not impressed with property. GPS will not show how to get there. January 6, 2014

Pleasantly surprised at the set up and ability to buy and prepare your own meals, with all the necessary utensils and a full sized fridge. Room rate and location were also great. Staff quickly provided another room that did not smell like cigarette smoke. January 1, 2014

We have a small dog and usually struggle to find a place that is still top quality and allows small pets. No bad smells from other pets and extremely helpful staff. We use the mobile APP to find our Candlewood Hotels along our route for any road trip. December 26, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Management Kills the Deal The overall stay at the hotel was very pleasant until I was double-billed for my stay. I called the property with in a day or two to speak with the manager about this. I was never able to speak with the head manager upon leaving my contact information after several calls. She was alway either just headed out of town or at another property. I finally had to call the corporate office to get my bill straightened out. Even on the refund that was finally issued I was shorted a few dollars. I never once received an apology, call, email or anything from th property. This place will not get my business anymore. And yes I've stayed in Texarkana a few times since then. November 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by booking room I definitely did not like the NON REFUNDABLE room booking. All Candlewood Suites are not like this one. Refundable booking before 6pm seems to be standard, this one was not. hence I could not recommend this hotel.. November 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WOW!!!! We had never used a Candlewood Suites for our overnight stays and will definitely be staying with them again. I just LOVE how they allow pets without restrictions. We were on a long drive with family who have a rottweiler. My family loved being able to find a place where their dog didn't have to be at a kennel and could stay with them. Once we got into our rooms we loved the full refrigerator and freezer, the lovely quarts counter tops in the kitchette and bathrooms and having a stove top. My in-laws are now currently staying at a Candlewood while they are waiting for their new home. October 16, 2013
