Crowne Plaza Tyson's Corner, VA

This hotel experience was among the five worst in my 20+ years of business travel. Upon arrival I discovered my room was icy cold (65 degrees and blowing out cold air). I turned the heating control to 74 in an attempt to improve the comfort level. After 45 minutes the temperature barely moved a degree. I went down to the lounge to eat (earlier than planned) to wait and see if any change would occur. While there the young man working there called maintenance to go to my room and correct the issue. After 30mminutes or so I went back to the room to see that he had determined the unit was bad. He went to get another (he stated there was only one other). even after replacing the control was very erratic (either far too cold or far too hot).

Add to all of this that the lounge dinners were incorrect twice during the week and what wasn't incorrect was of poor food quality.

Our Executive Housekeeper is reviewing with her team the importance of ensuring all guest rooms are ready for guest arrivals at 100%. Jet lagged and tired

Generally good experience, although water pouring through front canopy when we arrived didn't provide the best impression.
I was also wakened quite early one morning by dumpsters being emptied.
