Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 NYC vacation Hello, my family of 3 stayed at the Holiday Inn express for 4 nights. Room was quite small, but we were only there to shower and sleep. Great location to hop on and off of subways and taxi's. Received a $10 breakfast voucher to be used in the restaurant downstairs for each of us for every morning! Nice surprise as this was not listed on the website at time of booking. The workout room has 5 gallon cold water that you can refill water bottles before venturing out for the day. Excellent staff and excellent waitress (Agnes) at the bullpen. Enjoyed our stay and loved the sights. July 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for a short vacation in New York Room was very nice and quiet with good beds. Bathroom not spotless but good enough Location perfect. Walking distance to a lot of sights in the most southern area of the city and right next to the subway station Fulton Street. Nicest subway station in New York btw. No 5 bus a block away and takes you right up to times Square and Central Park. The reception is tiny, but the people working there are terrific. My membership was also recognized, which was nice. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by poor experience Small rooms and dingy outside appearance of the Hotel. TV reception quality was poor, the picture on the TV had interruptions and was fuzzy. Elevators did not work in a facility that has more than 10 floors, this is a must. I felt bad for the hotel staff who had to help the handicap and elderly people get their luggage out of the hotel, but they had no choice. I fault the management of the hotel for this problem, the one elevator was down/broken two days prior when we arrived. July 26, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Probably won't stay here again This place has decent prices, but you get (or not) what you pay for. The bed was well worn and saggy. Hall ways feel like you are walking in a dungeon. The food in the restaurant for breakfast was barely passable. July 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excelente alojamiento en estratégica ubicación Destaco en primer lugar la ubicación estratégica del hotel, cerca del Fulton Subway Center, de restaurantes, cafeterías, tiendas, shopping y por supuesto, de sitios de interés, entre ellos el Memorial 11S y el Brooklyn Brigde. Respecto de la atención del personal, Tanya se destaca por su simpatía y cordialidad, siempre dispuesta a brindar su colaboración y un detalle que no es menor: habla perfectamente español. Respecto del restaurante donde se sirve el desayuno, la atención del personal fue algo dispar, ya que Agnes sobresale ampliamente sobre las otras camareras debido a su gran eficiencia, rapidez en la atención y su amabilidad. Quizás, en términos futuros, podría contemplarse la posibilidad de incluir un frigobar en las habitaciones. July 24, 2015

The only complaint is that the elevators were very unreliable. I had to walk down 17 flights of stairs which is not fun for someone not in shape to do so. July 23, 2015
