The hotel could use some refurbishing, but still a good deal for the money. This is the second time we have stayed there where the upholstered chair in the room was stained and filthy. May 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Very disappointed! This was my fourth year staying at the holiday inn in auburn. When we arrived on Friday we were placed in a double occupancy room when we had booked a king room. They told us that due to a wedding and a pageant no other room was available , To check back saturday and they would move us to the king room . When Saturday arrived we asked at the desk if we could have the room we paid for ? They told us that every room was booked . So we asked if there was a price difference , they said yes, if they were to move us to a king room that we would be charged more. We tried explaining to them that we had originally purchased a king room and that if we had to stay in the double room we would like to be refunded the difference . It wasn't until I said I have the original agreement that we paid for a king room that magically a room on the 5th floor was available ! I felt we should have been compensated for the first night. Other then being lied to about rooms not available the hotel is decent. Clean rooms and a great restaurant located on property. We stayed while a child pageant was taking place so the hotel was filled with little children , the pool was always crowded and the wedding party was a little loud and rowdy. May 7, 2015

Under the dresser vanity was good from The previous person. Housekeeping ce To clean and he was a sweaty unprofessional mess! Had to call the front desk several Times due to the noise and partying Of other guests staying at the hotel. The housekeeping staff were rude and Had no patience for the guests. May 6, 2015
