Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Queens Area The Holiday Inn in Maspeth NY provided a wonderful respite for our trip to the US Open Tennis tournament. We were pleased the shuttle was available to take us to and from matches and we avoided the long lines in the subway coming from the city. The staff made every effort to make sure our stay was comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating with every request. The hotel was clean and our room was comfortable with a good bed. This made it a good trip! 05 September 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by transportation The staff at this Holiday Inn Express is fantastic. The only weakness at this hotel was if you did not use the fabulous shuttle service and they called you a cab, the company did not know the area and was way more expensive getting to and from Manhattan than a taxi. They were not very reliable, but this is not against the holiday inn. This is an outside service they use. The holiday inn might want to look at other transportation options. They were very nice and did comp us a ride when the transportation service did not go as planned. Because of the wonderful staff we would stay at this location again. 02 September 2014
